We do not consider reformatting as a joking solution but rather a hassle for the user. Although the solution that the helpers may propose is also time consuming, but at least data would still be intact after cleaning the system. However after reformatting the system, everything would be as good as gone. Although you would say that there is something called backup, but restoring all the data would take time. Why not let helpers clean the system up instead of wasting time reformatting and restoring all data? Not to say that we discourage formatting but it should always be the last resort. No offence. smile.gif

Ok, I know what u mean here. If Im not mistaken, there is way to reformat the cpu and ur files/data will be still in the com. By creating C:/ just for window files and other drive for other files so its actually quite good.

But yeah, you r correct..its better to scan and formatting shud be the last resort.

It might be a .dll generated by other virus/spyware.
I would suggest you to download the lastest Search and Destroy and update it.
Then start your window in safe mode and run Search an Destroy to scan the computer and use your antivirus to do another scan.

Hope it works for you.
