what kind of sound? like gas sound pssssss?
if like that probally u accidently rub off the dry grease on the shaft (eg: touching, grabbing, holding)
try to apply some dry grease..
some people complain got sound.. then after few opening and closing the sound will go off

i thought it is already stated back there about the value?

how i wish to use the EL meter but doesnt have suitable 1 for my car
hey i got 1 question here;
if i change my meter to GTi or Putra, my speedometer will follow new meter or it is a preset setting?
meaning if using mitsu meter @ 180km/h (max), in proton meter will state 180km/h or 240km/h (max)?

I've the same question too, im using 1.5 manual,but with putra/gti meter...
previous 1.5 meter,max rev is 8k, i go up to 7k..
but 1.8 meter, max 9 k, i can go up to 8k,
i though the reving suppose to see how the engine can support?
for the max speed, i can't tell you....coz my previous meter is 200, this one 260..
and my slow car...can't go max....

Any of u guys encountered rattling noise from the gearbox? According to the mechanic, it is caused by a bearing inside the GB.
I'm using Wira 1.3 AB - 1999.
Any recommendation on good mechanics? Around KL, Cheras or Puchong?
