Sometime the keypad backlight doesn't even lighted up.
Do you realize that?

I've no problem at all doing updates and hackings with a Vista.

This issue has been discussing since early of 2008.
There's a video on Youtube that showing a P1i with a W960i firmware.
I don't know how they did it, but according to them, after flashing to W960i firmware, the QWERTY and the memory card slot malfunction.
I've tried to flash my ex-P1i with W960i firmware via XS++, but end up nothing happened.
So I guess let's just sit back and wait for the "official" release.

Hi guys

Singapore firmware(CDA/95), is an original firmware, just the region differences only, which allow you to use different language input in this phone.
If you're on the latest firmware, and you connected your phone to SEUS, it will said something like "There's no latest software to update".
Unless you use XS++ to change your CDA once, then SEUS will help you to update your firmware according to the region you've selected earlier in XS++.

Its better to do a perma system hack for once, together with the SIS installer hacks, and the next time you wanted to mod/hack your phone, it will make you life goes easier.
As for shortcut key for other apps, you can try the softkey mod.
If my memory serves me right, there is a WALKMAN 3.0 in the list.

Have you ever done any sound hacks?
I occurred this after I've done patching from sound mod lite to sound mod full.
If you're free, do a fresh flashing on your phone, and patch the sound mod full directly.
Cause I don't think revert, or copying back those backup files will work.

No that doesn't consider as flash.
Use XS++ change the CDA again.
And then let SEUS run the updating again.
This is what we call a full flash, a.k.a reformat.

The WALKMAN 3.0 has nothing to do with the firmware thingy my dear.
Its just a normal software that let you run WALKMAN 3.0 in your P1i, and it got nothing to do with your firmware.

And again, I need to emphasize that all firmwares are ORIGINAL.
Its only regionally differences only.
Situation 1, if you have CDA/1, or a World Generic 1 firmware running, you might not be able to get Chinese read/write, as well as the dictionary, BlackBerry thingy, and some lunar calendar if I'm not mistaken.
Situation 2, if you have CDA/95, or we call it Singpoare firmware, you'll have Chinese read/write thingy, as well as those dictionary and blablabla thingy, and you lost Anti-Aliasing fonts, which make SG firmware s*ck big time.
Situation 3, if you are not in CDA/1 or CDA/95, refer to Post #1 and flash your P1i into either 1, now, immediately.

Fundamental of hacking.
Chapter 1 - Please do a Perma System Hack[SHVH] before you start anything.
Once you did that, the world of hacking become so easy already as you don't have to connect to your PC and do the APPTRK thingy again and again.

For WALKMAN 3.0, after done Perma System Hack, you can directly jump to Step #11 already, and all you have to download is swmail's Walkman Hack.

While APPTRK.sis is the one you have to install in your P1i.

I think no need.
You directly download the CDA95 GDFS then patch it with XS++ then again let SEUS update, I think will work.
