Head's up all you 3dmark bencher, Futuremark just announced that their latest benchmark program has gone gold smile.gif. A release counter is already up on their page (Link)

Here's the requirements

    * Performance - 256MB DX10 Video Card and a monitor capable of displaying 1280x1024 resolution
    * High - 512MB DX10 Video Card and a monitor capable of displaying 1680x1050 resolution
    * Extreme - 512MB DX10 Video Card and a monitor capable of displaying 1920x1200 resolution

i already ran it few times.. is ok with my x3350 n q6600, but always got error with my q6700.. dunno why..

i saw some benchmark show tat 9600gt and ati 3850 score nearly similar in this benchmark,if ati really can get better score in this benchmark,tats a good news for ati user

GPU TEST 1 and TEST 2 running at about 16FPS... I think the latest 3D marks vantage is a hungry video benchmark ever..
hopefully the upcoming ATI Radeon 4000 series can give us more than 20fps on GPU tests.

Yeap, there's no dx10.1 in vantage, only dx10. They might include it in upcoming patch when nvidia release their dx10.1 capable cards.

Its just under 4 hours to go now biggrin.gif

dont quote the full score
just look at the gpu score..

definitely ati will be tweaking it with new drivers soon..

ati cards for some reason always the cpu score is less than nvidia's

this was apparent on 3dmark06 days..

8-21 fps for my 8800GT 512MB on trial. Crashed while trying to submit result. lol

I think it might need an actual Physx hardware or 9600GT+.

Download it from Japanese mirror. I get 100KB/sec there.

the program is super buggy..
so no tweak.. just did my normal OC..

hmm the physx card cause some issue on my mobo..
corrupted my cmos..

took some time to get the 4ghz working..

CPU: E8500 @ 500x8 4ghz 1.275v

Can be in driver emu mode:

Power User > Riva Tuner \ System > ForceDriver Version: Enter "444d"

Restart RivaTuner. OC and fanspeed control works again.

Or wait for RivaTuner 2.09 which is supposed to be up shortly biggrin.gif

Still, the best result is Core2 Quad Extreme QX9750, probably DDR3 RAM and SLI. It made so much difference compare to yours which is already a good PC.

to make 3dmarkvantage can be use again with trial version, u need to uninstall-->install it back.

and , you can use the same trial key again. laugh.gif

run>regedit>hkey_current_user>software>futuremark>3dmarkvantage>keycode and delete they key..

One thing good about 3dmark vantage.. the gpu scores are consistent... not much improvement with 4ghz vs 4.5ghz

hmm it looks like the vantage is actually very good benchmark

and its more for multi gpu platform

qx9650@ 4.165ghz with 9800gtx sli total score is around 10800..

so its more graphic card depedent ...hence ure whacked out scores
so technically
heheheh if i take my 9800gx2 from my main rig and plug it into my second rig with the 780 mobo
and physx card and with e8400..
i should be able to compete with ure scores.. or even beat it..

is this windows vista exclusive?? i cant afford Ori windows vista ultimate retail pack. OEM package not worth the money coz when u upgrade ur com, the CD-KEY become invalid, not like old OEM windowsXP sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

Download this Hotfix installer if you already have 3DMark Vantage 1.0.0 installed on your system. In case you don't have 3DMark Vantage installed, you need to download the new full installer (1.0.1).

The hotfix updates the following:
  • Off-line score viewing is now available in the Advanced Edition.
  • Score save / submit saved options are now available in the Advanced Edition.
  • Ad banners have been removed from all editions.
  • Added a "SEND ERROR" button to error messages; clicking this will send detailed error information to Futuremark for better bug tracking and fixing. No personally identifiable information will be sent or stored.
The hotfix fixes the following:
  • An issue preventing valid serial key entry in some cases has been fixed.
  • An issue causing "boost::filesystem::create_directory" error message after registration has been fixed.
  • Added a check and error message for hardware that is not DX10 capable.
  • Improved detection of supported resolutions so that CPU test minimum requirement (1280x1024) is now taken into account correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where pressing the ESC key during CPU test loading screen, the user would be taken to a score view with score -1.
  • The entire 3DMark Vantage application is now elevated to Administrator rights, rather than only the SystemInfo component. This will ensure more robust SystemInfo and benchmark functionality, and fixes the "pop-behind" elevation dialog.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused "WM_QUIT" error messages.
  • Post-processing scale is now displayed correctly in the UI for the Extreme Preset.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause resolution switches at test runtime.

I installed the 3DMark Vantage 1.01 full installer but can't get it to work. It is stuck at the "INITIALIZING GUI" screen. Could it be a problem that I have two monitors?

Added on May 23, 2008, 9:06 pmUsing Demo version, Vista Ultimate SP1, Catalyst 8.5 and HIS HD3870. Anyone face the same problem?

how much can squeeze out from a gtx260 ?

is 10766 ok?

not sure since using windows7 beta. the benchmarks runs like turtle . i mean the animation.

June 2009 Updates

Benchmark updates now available!

The June 2009 updates are available for 3DMark03, 3DMark05, 3DMark06, 3DMark Vantage, PCMark05 and PCMark Vantage.
These patches update the system information detection component to the latest version for each of these benchmark products. This fixes numerous issues related to hardware detection in the benchmarks.
The updates are available now as patches from the mirrors listed below and soon as full installer packages from mirror sites.
Advanced and Professional Users can also soon download the updated full install packages from the same download page (credentials supplied in the receipt email) they originally used to download the application.

NOTE: Benchmark scores are NOT affected by this update. All scores are comparable with previous results. Benchmark version numbers will remain the same.
