I've tested it myself with a Mushkin 1GB 667 Mhz Single Sided DDR2 memory and it ran fine but at a step down speed of 533Mhz. Also tested with a MT 256MB 533Mhz Single Sided DDR2 memory and ran perfectly too. 800Mhz DDR2 memory should be avoided as stepping down from a too high frequency might cause timing issues with the chipset's memory controller.
