720p is 1280x720. The 901 is 1280x600. I figure if I could just watch the anime i downloaded straight without conversion.  Thanks for the info anyway.

Seems like quite a lot of people in LYN are Eee PC users.   

Btw, my friend might want to get a Eee PC soon, and she has some questions:

1) How is the Eee PC 901 performance for the use of music, movie, and paper work (M$ Office)? Can it handles without any lag?

2) How long would the Eee PC 901 last for movie playback on a fully charged battery?

3) I read that the SSD in Eee PC 901 is divided into 4GB and 8GB. Is it means that it's something like a "fix-pre-partition" HDD? If yes, then does the 4GB is enough for OS installation and some software too maybe?

4) Lastly, i heard that we can use SDHC card to expand the storage capacity of Eee PC 901 like we normal use portable HDD on our comp?

p/s: sorry for asking so many questions cos i m not so familiar with the Eee PC and tq very much in advance to those who read or answering the long questions above.

my usage would be pure surfing only...in the end..still think bringing out my Vaio TX is a bit troublesome..and big..

Wow... i never thought that eee pc 901 battery can use up to 4.5-6 hrs in movie playback.   

If like this, for a normal journey in express bus, i won't be getting bored or have nothing to do anymore (if i ever have one).   

As you said, one 4GB SSD is soldered on board and another 8GB is in ZIF slot, then means that in future we might have the option to upgrade the SSD capacity through the ZIF slot lor? If yes, then it's really cool.   

Now the more i look at this netbook, the more i like it.  But it's too bad that this netbook is not powerful enough to run my project simulation. If not sure get it already.

not when it cost nearly 600 more than the Aspire One.

The price 1149 also belum bargain lagi. Who knows can even get RM1100?
