Anyone knows where to get a nice sleeve for 1000h model?  blush.gif

That is the problem, I am still looking for keyboard protector, ezstick and so on.

There are odeli scratches on my 1000H LCD cover, do not know when and how they happen.

Let us know if you find them.

The 160gb 1000H has 6600mah battery on it but is selling in other parts of the world. Could be outside Asia. It comes with 2.5" 160gb hdd.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Newsentry.153...a597f2b1.0.html

They also have N 10 series running on Vista, could be RM 1K more expensive, with Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS with 256 MB video memory

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Newsentry.153...17a5a5ba.0.html

The top selling netbooks in Amazon, USA are currently those equipped with 6 cells ( 6600mah ) batteries.

A laser mouse can track more surfaces than older red-light mouse. The wavelength used on a laser mouse is narrower than its predecessors so it'll help it track more details on different terrains. Also those laser mouse don't have those annoying and glaring red beam, its usually invisible but don't put your eye in front of it k. Hehehe!

I am using a HP Precision Laser Tracking mouse that I bought at RM70 during its Further Mark Down Sale at Jaya33 last month. It was a co-incidence and I was there at the right time and place.
*
Thank you for yr explanation. I did not know it costs so much.

How much you have to pay for.

Free size keyboard is selling for rm 10.

Maybe ez stick or skin ( for lcd cover ) is about rm 30.

Both can be located at lowyatt, but need skill to do the cuttings.

Added on September 17, 2008, 9:19 ami read a lot of news that asus n10 is coming out this month??? any news when will msia have the stock also???
*
Thank you for your info.

If you look at HP mini, it is not so popular. With a graphic card added on, the netbook gets hot easily and drains battery power fast.

Do not know much about N10. But with Vista running with 2gb ram, it could be slower than 1000H. Both are using single atom processor.

My 1000H boot time is much better than some full pledge Vista machines ( running with more than 1 processor ). N10 is running on a single atom. Who knows in 6 months times, duo atoms might take its place. Those who jump in to buy would then suffer.

There are pros and cons. And the bottom line is what are you looking for from a netbook ?

Any picture to show ? Why not putting up in yr signatures of items you are selling ?

You may get some sales from there. There are forumers who want to to buy 1000H, why not you approach them ?

Plannig to do so, stil thinking what price should i give to all LYN members.
Meaning because in garage sales they are alot of sellers over there selling laptop included Eee PC.
No point if my price same like them, isn't it ? =)  flex.gif
*
For eee pc , no need pictures lah , or linked them to asus website.

I am talking about batteries and others.

You can take bulk orders. WE BUY FROM TRUSTED PARTY, of course price got to be reasonable if you sell in bulk.

I know one guy selling a few sets of 3G modems through lowyatt.net at zero rental. He has orders all over Malaysia now ( i bought the modem from him ).

I hope to learn from him too.

how much did you bought ur 3g modem?? issit 3.5g also???

Added on September 17, 2008, 4:27 pm

errr why got range one?? got different type???
*
Yes , should 3G , with max speed at 7.2 mbps.

But my plan is only at 384 kpbs, though able to get 800++ sometimes.

It costs me rm 350 to buy 220 model modem ( cost about 850 last year ).

Just like other tech, it may go down some more bcos advance countries find 7.2 is too slow.

But in Malaysia, we have not invested in high speed infrastructure ( costs about 18 billions ).

So i think 7.2 max is odeli very good.

So what is the longest life battery for 1000h model now? 6600mh?  hmm.gif
*

0

Asus battery is 6600mah,

3rd party 8800 ++ or more ( any fire hazard ? )

The reading is when yr processor is busy with auditing or anti virus is busy checking then you get a lower reading.

It should be back to 1.66 after all the processing.

Yo bro n sis ;-)

Do anyone here use U Mobile internet service via Bluetooth on Eee Netbook?

Mine one failed to connect. Last time Digi connected but slow like snail.
*
Basically digi is running on edge 2.5 G, whereas others are using 3 or 3.5 G.

It is much simpler to get a usb 3G modem to operate. Again does your area have u mobile 3G/edge coverage ?

Many areas could still under GPRS WHEN you 3G connection is very weak.

My usb modem is able to tell me whether it is 3G, GPRS, HSDPA OR EDGE connections.

Frankly speaking connection via bluetooth is slow , data speed is restricted by bluetooth data transfer rate . Again, Edge is also low speed data system.

U Mobile prepaid was only RM38 i purchased that card solely for internet purpose.

Verdict:
RM38 use for call lah~ but it offers 2 months free internet unlimited surf.
It is definitely faster than that butt shit YellowMan Digi. Upload also faster than Digi since i had uploaded many pics into Facebook, Digi even failed to upload it. That is Y i cancelled n complained Digi. Digi download rate was a pity 6kps/s max.
Not bad LAH RM38 for 2 months online n call, wat 2 expect more?  Bluetooth on my 901 LAH Ofcoz.
But if u use 3G USB modem, it can reach 1MB/s transfer rate.
I don't want waste RM300 to buy a modem for tis LAH...
*
Yes , you are right.

I was thinking of buying a 3G modem last year when it was selling at RM 850. So I did not buy.

3 months ago , i took a relook at 3G modem and then again I did not buy.

But since, Celcom could upgrade my RM 88 +15 ( streamyx plus hotspots ) to RM 108 ( streamyx plus 3g celcom ). Then i said why not ?

I think for a long time, finally i bought the 3G modem. The beauty of it, I do not need to look for Starbucks or hotspots like that to surf . Mamak stalls will do. I think there are more mamak stalls than starbucks or hotspots combined. Quite easy to locate one when caught in trafffic jams in KL.

Honestly, i think the price of 3G modem would drop to less than rm 200. Since, i am in financial services sector, i do not want to wait.

For the purpose of sharing my personal view with others. Do not mean to poison you.

I just use my handphone as modem (via bluetooth) to connect to Maxis 3g. less hassle and expense! icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Sorry i do not have a 3G phone, so a new 3G phone is costing me RM 350 or more.

Secondly i am using only a 3G data card. So to reserve s 3G phone just to surf web is a waste for me. Unplug and plug sim cards less hassle ?

Then again through bluetooth, what is your speed, mind to share. ?

But the end result is the same, we both got connected to the world.

A long, long time ago, before I even thinking of buying eee pc, I bought a k810i. Not for its 3g though, but for it's 3.2 mp camera.

And now, I just use it as a modem since its already have that function.

Secondly, I used myphone sim card since its already a 3g simcard. so another thing that is already there for me icon_rolleyes.gif

And here is my speedtest data (attachment). Its enough I guess, sine I only use it for simple surfing. Like right now I'm at jusco, waiting for a friend to finish shopping. I just take a seat and whip out my eee. thumbup.gif
*
Thank brother for sharing. Your speed is fast, quite unbelievable.

Just wondering how the charges like for voice and data, or one charge for unlimited use including voice ?

My basic plan 384 Celcom. Near Jusco Cheras Selatan.

when you upgrade ur streamyx, the first month did they charge any service fee or any other fee??? i am planning for the rm108 package too!
*
No other charges except stamp duty of RM 10 . But you have to remind the staff bcos the package is provided by two companies namely celcom and telekom. And the staff may not be aware of the plan. They may collect one month advance from you.

The plan name is called HOME, HOP AND AWAY. Check their celcom web for more.

You still have a hidden cost and that is the basic fixed line rental charge of RM 25 or 26 a month.

Celcom is deemed to be better than Maxis from market feedbacks.

I do not think so. But you can call celcom at 1 300 111 000 to find out more.

The agents are not getting any comm from this plan. So it is better for u to find out fr celcom directly.

Buy both 2 , so you do not have headache.

2 combined are still cheaper than to buy an entry level notebook 4 years ago, or high end ultra light notebook.
