Interesting.. I'm sure the price will affect us as well but not sure when... As the Eee900 only just available in M'sia, I'm not sure how the potential buyers would react..

seems like the 901 and 1000 are completely over-shadowing the 900 series...

just hope the price doesn't bloat upwards of RM2k and the plastics quality is better than the crappy 700 series..

hope the plastics improved.. was not impressed with the touchpad buttons of the 700.. looks and feels like a cheap china made toy computer..

Bloody hell, I seriously wonder why asus wanted to launch 900 if they know 901 is coming less than 1.5 months later. If I am in US now, i would probably RMA and get my refund, damn it! I rugi banyak lah.

asus in taiwan always cheaper than any other country.

Wow!! It's really looking attractive! But is this the model with the EEE PC logo on it instead of the Asus logo?

That Eee logo has got to go. They need to take it out back and shoot it, then come up with a 21st century design.

Also, buying in Taiwan will not have international warranty even though it's cheaper...

the EEE logo is because of the branding... They want to make EEE like how Nestle brands Maggi...

but still... The Eee logo sucks... I like the asus logo better...

I hope that Eee 900 drops its price... But if Eee 901 is below the RM2k range, I might consider to buy it...

701 soon below RM1k... Hmm... tempting. This may be a good start for 3rd world countries to adopt technology... Since OLPC phailed to gain the popularity...

Just hope the 701 would drop its price tremendously.. probably less than RM800
