Am considering to buy some 16/32GB SD CLASS6.
I heard this kind of SD was fast - 10MB/s write n 18MB/s read.

But a bit pricey lah~ Gonna wait till next PC fair then only buy.

Download MAME games (click Mame category on web for all Arcade Games)
Download Emulator for MAME (only for Arcade Games not Nintendo or any kind)

Move All Game files **.zip to Rom folder
No Rom folder? Create one and dump games(**.zip) in.

No Need to UNzip those games.

Have you seen EmulATOR LOGO aka Mame32.exe?
If no then unzip the Emulator.

Double click Emulator icon to get inside.

Click 'Available' to see all games playable.
If some games were missing even downloaded.
Click File and select Audit All Games. It takes few minutes to Audit Games
Now those games will pop out.
Click 'Available' click those game to play it.

You will be welcome by funny screen that trying to adjust to system. Colorful but weird...

Click Tab to edit Control
Click 5 to insert credit
Click 1 to play

There you will see - Eee Pc Utility Tray - click it
Now select your Display resolution.

I don't have External CD drive here.
Can i just Uninstall StarOffice and install Office 2003?
Uninstall others one by one, and install other small programs from rapidshare or download.com?
My existing C drive in 901 now is 966MB free space.

I don't think i wil often use external DVD drive so am gonna save that money for a Class 6 SD card.

Rapidshare n Megaupload is also a commercial site so its gonna protect their interest as well.
He said having no problems since he had downloaded tons of GB files from it from programs to movies.
As long as u got ZoneAlarm firewall ON and antivirus ON. Firefox 3 will scan for u too.
If all these 3 failed, other downloaders ok while u got Hit, means u were destined for d damn.

This is consider a fake link which usually lead you to some unreliable download.

While - program/now/great/download
a full string link is a great download and usually this page had a product display there to confirm the thing you want.

I just downloaded Battlefield WW2 Secret Weapons with it's big photo on its page.
Gonna unzip d RAR files from my frens pc, my C drive jus can't handle d huge temporary file.

I always put my 901 baby in Standby mode, it consume 1% battery every hour. It save my boot time, i will hot swap out d battery when plug on unless the battery is critical low 6% remaining. Then, i would charge it till full batt b4 hot swap it out again. Leaving the Netbook power off with battery intact will not drain the battery for a short period of time, let say few days. After few days d battery might lost a few %.

Am i d only one who practice this habit?

Also kill that slow lagging huge junk Adobe Reader, replace it with FoxIt Reader - 2.7MB only!! Fast loading no stupid intro with company logo like Adobe did.

Photo viewer, you can replace it with ACDSee.
CCleaner also highly recommended to clean up your Netbook junk files,it works ultra fast...in seconds!

I also use Uniblu Power Suite from Rapidshare to tune my Netbook. U need to slowly discover its goodie ya...can customize startup programs so ur machine may boot faster.

Still keeping AVG, but plan to delete it and reinstall to D drive.

Hope this sharing helps.

Anybody here use a program called Bootlt or Partition Magic to merge both partition into one? So your drive will be able to run a huge program.

I read d Eeepc forum, i found many people wil facing problems when they try to upgrade or modify their machine. Better not to touch it when everything running great.
I just got an 8GB Cruzer Contour ScanDis flash drive RM119, superb performance when writing data 18MB/ps, read is 25MB/ps.

Upgrade Ram n External DVD drive no problem la~

Only those changing Os, touch screen,3G card or HDD will mostly facing problems.

Unless u monitor d Task Manager there wif Fn key + F6 n notice d Performance there show Memory usage always above 850MB then only consider 2GB Ram LAH...
Usually shut those startup program wil save u lots of ram usage. Firefox Ultimate Optimizer program also wil save ur Firefox browser frm consuming much ram.

About storage, unles u r Mp3 addict or movie torrent addict LAH... Why need so much hard drive storage?

For games? Bros this machine is awesome but got limitation. I did run Company of Heroes wif my 901 but Damn laggy...nice graphic but hell d frame rate turn my hard on down. Some even consume alot your storage man. Is it worth? It can run most 2004 n yrs back games wif charm.

D Flash Drive -SanDisk Cruzer Contour is great helper here -it is a sure booster here baby!

901 now is like a limited edition/rare item in KL coz i hardly see one owner in any hot spots. They wil eyeing on your little Netbook n what wonder it can cast.
I treasure it a lot.

This baby can run many apps like a charm. Especially those Office apps.
Games were smooth with this baby. Diablo 2 Expansion Pack n Starcraft 3 was amazing here. Plus my hefty amount of classic Mame games is a real pleasure.
