QUOTE(jackdon @ Jul 5 2008, 04:44 PM) External HDD yes but Y.... tell me Y. You can easily setup TinyXP on the 8GB as using Linux dual boot. It takes about 486MB and you setup aside a 4GB partition and you have dual boot. Still got another 4GB left mah... and also got SDHC where 8GB is only RM100+ mah. Don't you think so. jackdon. it is because i only want to use XP once and i don't need it next time need to use XP on eee pc for robot programming so can gimme links how to do it? BTW i dpn't have any CD/DVD rom

QUOTE(freza @ Sep 8 2008, 10:30 PM) Does the Eeepc support 8GB SD cards? I'm asking because my HP Compaq nc6230 built in SD card reader only supports up to 2GB SD card. OS: Win XP Pro. i think it support up to 16GB SDHC right?

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Sep 15 2008, 09:00 PM) I encourage kids to carry eee pc 701, than playing with psp . My child just bought a portable pda dictionary for more than 1K. Frankly speaking , i think it is better to buy a 701 and do some dictionary software installations . The sound quality of eee pc is better also. There are so many things you can do with a eee pc. Things that you want to do. Someone brings along his eee pc while fishing, No asa, usa or isa that kind of things. I bought it for fun. use for couple of project like running hackintosh, hack other laptop and others.
