so far don have any prob. with my xps..just few times have prob. to start but fix after run some error checking..
but few days back i xcidently delete my D drive meant for backup & recovery, then after that all my auto backup fail. |

i read about the nvidia problem on 5/8..then 2 days later, my display start to show the exact symptoms mention in the forum..
by the 3rd day, i can't even log on to windows. i called technical support and immediately they confirm the problem with my nvidia chip. they promise to send a replacement for mobo on thursday but have to postpone it to friday coz there is no stoc available..guess other users have the same problem too.. |

how do you know you get refurbished mobo?is there any sign/mark on the mobo? and what is the possibility it will not happen again after you change your mobo?i get mine on saturday by special request coz they normally don't work on weekend as i've a very important presentation today in KL

what exactly do they mean as refurbished system?your xps or ur mobo?
if they refer it to your lappy,does it mean Dell notebooks from reseller/dist. are all refurbished? as for the cooling pad, i'm thinking of buying Gigabyte Gpad Pro.anyone of u know how much is it? thanks |

agreed. mine also still not updated yet. better use cooler pad.
more effective. plus, afraid if by updating bios, my battery life will be shorten. |

after 4 consecutive days trying n just about to lost my patience, miraculously i get connected to dell chat session with the technical support

i think intel 3100 is better than ati radeon 200 xpress.

GUYS, I HAVE A QUESTION. How can I extend my warranty? Since I pretty much enjoyed my warranty with Dell in this first year, I really feel like I should extend my warranty. Dell's after-sales service is really.. NO #1, fast and prompt, kudos to Dell. Added on September 5, 2008, 8:33 am wah, ColeXE, so many things changed for your laptop..if u want to extend ur warranty expect to pay >1000 ( u can refer to my previous post #792 page 38)..and i only changed the mobo... |
