i hv installed de WeDict and some software like Longman and Oxfard Collection but i don know how to use it bcos when i type any word it says "NOT FOUND"

U sure u type the correct spelling of the word? coz it's solution not solotion.

Yup. I recommend installing the OALD (Oxford Adv Learner's Dict) software. Very complete, I have the real Dict and the app is matching the actual one word by word. Very good.

Does it only happen to OALD or others as well? Try to refresh your sources and then try again. Maybe restarting your phone will help too.

just let me get this right. We install the WeDict then additionally we install the OxFord Advanced Learner Dict? then we hv a\more words to search from? Currently i can only search simple words.

2nd question : has anyone install the Pronunciation SOUND (A-Z) for WeDict?

Yes, you can try and see. It'll be a full-working dictionary. Havent tried the pronunciation.

Thanks. Got it. There is so many other categories of dictionary. Anybody wan to share the difference so we can the one we need?
i tried pronunciation n it works great. But only spell one letter search. I try 'polar' can but 'polar bear' cant. Maybe din d/l for 'b' so no sound. Once i tried i update u guys!

I installed the Eng-French and French-Eng dicts cuz im self learning French now. Not bad. It teaches you how to swear as well.

or should i go to iClarified categories and install Unlock 1.1.4 (unlock ur activated and jailbroken 1.1.4 iphone, you must be on the 3.9L)

A Weiphone-dict folder should come out in Install. I think there is a Chinese-English dictionary that folder.

Yes, weiPhone has all the Chinese dicts, but it adds loads of junks into your installer, making it very messy. That's the thing i don't like about it.

i have the same problem with u..after i try to uninstall weDict and delete the error file "weDict" which is my case in /var/mobile/Library/ folder and reinstall back weDict.Then it works..

actually using by iphone browser to delete the error rite?
I cant enter /var/root/library/folder

any using ziphone unlock it, after got same problem with me?
here my problem cant solve, it is my wedict read NOT FOUND!, yea I've download the local dict for support it, but my LOCAL dict didn't show any im download from weiphone!

my OALD works just fabulous

yeapz, i've installed OALD, longman, merriam-webster and thesaurus-ee and they are all work fine.... maybe u can try to uninstall the dictionary package 1st then reinstall it again.....
