This always happen, when i am playing music in the iphone, for no reason it will just go out from the application and went to the home screen. I also face this problem when i am using the Safari or youtube. Is is because not enough memory or is it about something else.

When I got my Ipod Touch with 1.1.2 jailbreak(a used item), it freeze sometimes and BSOD with no functioning with the touch nor the any of the buttons work, I also facing the Safari quits for no reason but after I do a full restore, upgrade to 1.14 and jailbreak, it's working fine now. I think it's got something to do with the Firmware, just back ups your songs, movies, photos and do a full restoration I hopefully it solves your prob.

But don't use ZiPhone (and i hope that u didnt use ZiPhone in the first place, or this will add to a list of probs caused by that program). Few of our frens from other threads are facing some probs now. Use either iLibertyx or iPlus. Cheers This post has been edited by nkymark: Apr 25 2008, 08:06 AM

i dont mean this as a mockery, but it is a sensible suggestion.
if you cant figure out what is wrong and you cant be bothered to 'terminal' your device to diagnose it, simply restore your iphone WITHOUT using the backup

I'm on 1.1.4 and sometimes this happens to me too when i'm browsing with Safari, especially sites with lotsa pictures to load. I also don't know why but my browser doesn't seem to keep my login session. It happens to all the sites that require user to login eg: friendster, facebook, etc. I'll be prompt to login again and again when i switch pages. I've enabled all the cookies settings but to no avail. Any help? TS: Sorry for thread 'hijacking' This post has been edited by zc_squash: Apr 26 2008, 11:20 AM

QUOTE(Joelles @ Apr 27 2008, 10:56 PM) The cookies seems not working is a common issue for those with 1.1.4 as it works well on 1.1.2, anyway there's a method to solve the problem if you know how to use the terminal (on mac) or either similiar third party applications such as WinSCP (PC). Once you log into your phone using the abovementioned applications, key in the command these 2 command one after another: chmod +x /Applications/Customize.app/Customize chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize Restart your Ipod Touch and "voila" it works. Thanks for the help. Yeah sure i know how to FTP into the iPhone. I'll try it out later. Wasn't aware that this is a rampant problem. Previously it worked fine... hmmm...

Previously it worked fine... hmmm... It's a common problem for 1.1.4 jailbreak IpodTouch/Iphone, here the solution to solve it. (Preferable if you know how to login your phone using WIFI). Use terminal (Mac) or WinSCP (PC) to login your IpodTouc/Iphone 1.1.4 and key in these 2 command one by one: chown mobile /var/mobile/Library/Cookies/ chown mobile /var/mobile/Library/Cookies/Cookies.plist Restart you IpodTouch/Iphone and "Voila" it works.
