First and foremost, full credit goes to 00007kel for providing the screenshots and having them numbered.

Reason for me doing this small guide is because there are a few people out there who frequently ask me whether they are able to transfer money into another third-party bank from Maybank2u..

This guide is mainly designed for those who are new to internet banking, who are using Maybank2u to transfer money to another, third-party local bank. This guide does not apply to other banks (E.G. Public Bank, UOB, RHB, etc.). Only Maybank2u USERS!..

We, 00007kel and jakesean, will not take full responsibility, and will not be responsible should anything goes wrong with your transfer. Transfer at your own risk.

It is recommended that you refer to these few threads/guides/how-tos first, whether you are new to this whole internet banking stuff, or not.. :-Yes, it will take some time reading those, but those additional information will keep you safe (not 100%!!) from idiots scammers. Of course, a little bit of common sense would help as well.. you dont wanna regret later on.. all i can say is - play safe..

so here goes..
.
..
..._

Step 1: Select Funds Transfer after logging into Maybank2u Internet Banking services website..
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Step 2: Select Open Interbank (GIRO) Transfer
Step 3: Select Beneficiary Bank - the bank that you are suppose to transfer to. CIMB will be used as an example here..
Step 4: Click Next
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Step 5: Under CIMB BANK BERHAD, input all transfer details of the recipient and transfer..
Amount - how much you are suppose/want to transfer to the recipient
To Open Beneficiary Account - the recipient's bank account number
    Beneficiary Name - recipient's name
Beneficiary ID - recipientt's IC number, car number plate, whatever that you may use to identify the recepient.
Transaction Reference Number - optional.. dont know what's that for.. phone up the bank, and ask them..
Description of Transfer - the purpose of transferring the money to the recipient. E.G. Purchase of RAM, Mouse, Keyboard, etc.
Step 6: Select Funds Transfer from the drop down menu box.
Step 7: Click Next
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

.. a list of details will be displayed on the next page.. MAKE SURE/CHECK THE DETAILS ARE CORRECT, FIRST, BEFORE GOING TO STEP 8!!
Step 8: If everything is right, click Next .. and you're done..
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Step 9 (Optional) : Take a screenshot of the next page. Have it kept as proof of transfer.

-the end-

Mods, if u think that this thread is unnecessary, then delete it.. or just lock it.. This guide may be garbage for most, but may a life-saving guide for some..

The next step requires a TAC number to authenticate, just Request TAC and the number will be sent to you via sms.

And oh bear in mind guys an additional RM2 fee is charged for every transaction. smile.gif

Yeah, RM2 is charged for normal account transferring using Interbank GIRO. Unless your account is Basic (Statement Based) where the charge is RM0.50 for the first 2 GIRO transactions of the month.

Found this a bit unfair to the normal account users, the basic accounts have less charges for their transactions.. sweat.gif If not mistaken, it is Bank Negara who force a policy that all Basic accounts should be 50 cents for first 2 times.
