FWD cars like iswara, wira have thier LSDs inside their gearboxes. technically speaking they gearboxes in FWD cars are called transaxles. vehicles with RWD have transmissions which has a shaft called propeller shaft linking it to the rear axle.

for FWDs the axle is built in, there for they use ATF.
but for RWDs they use two diff types of oils. ATF for transmission and axle oil for the rear axle.

The rear axle has different type of gears in it compared to the transmission. the gears are angled at a certain degree. this is called a hypoid gear. this ensure better contact and less wear between gears. but has produces a lot of heat. therefore the oil used for rear axles ar much thicker in viscosity to the ATF. the rear axle oil is actually called 'hypoid gear oil'

as for 'WHAT IS LSD'
the wikipedia tell u everything really. but for more info u shud check out howstuffworks.com. it has some nice animations there that will help u understand.
then u'll be able to tell the difference detween LSD 1.0/1.5 & 2.0

hope this helps. hit me back if u have any questions
