Needed help from sifu here, Just now bought AMD Phenom 9750 and installed on my Biostar TA770 A2+. I got 2 Hard disk . So when booting detected AMD Phenom 9750 Quad-Core Processor but cannot boot to windows. (XP and Vista).

Message : AMD Data Change - update New Data to DMI

Then straight to Window Error Recovery and ask to select option such as boot in safe mode kind of thing. No matter what option i select the system will reboot and repeat the whole process. What is happening. Any one can help....Is it something to do with the mobo bios?

Ok will do it tonight. Initially i though it is just install and play. From my previous experiance install CPU no need to change anything. And iam using AM2+ Mobo and the manufacturer confirm support Phenom processor. It really dont come into my mind that higher cpu got compatibility problem with my mobo. Dont tell me i need to sell my this mobo and buy another one.... icon_question.gif

Have you tried to update to latest bios?Becos they manufacturere should provide AM2+ Processor enhancement compatibility.

I know, but the issue now is that i cannot boot into window. I downloaded a patch from biostar website. But how to install. Worst case scenario i need to borrow another processor to access to window and install the patch....walau ehhh doh.gif

I think i found the problem already.... cut from biostar Global website

1 Will my motherboard support AMD Phenom AM2+ CPU?
There are four Biostar motherboard models will be able to support AMD Phenom AM2+ CPU.

TF570SLI A2+, TF560 A2+, TF520 A2+, TA770 A2+

1. Please update MB BIOS to the latest version while using AMD AM2+ CPUs.
2. Due to the latest AMD CPU transition, you may encounter the situation that the new system failed to boot while using new AMD AM2+ CPUs.In this case, please install one standard AM2 CPU to boot your system, and update the latest BIOS from our website for AMD AM2+ CPUs complete support.
