for ur info i even used stock heatsink with that proc until 70c so 60c just ok..
but F2 till 2.8 due to mobo limitation..

for me i would sacrifice a little performance rather than skyhigh voltage..
so the tips for that, make it more loose without decrease much performance.. (we won't notice the different actually..)

as we need to understand the needs of our hardware... thus we should care about their limitation and prolong the life span..

im using vista 32bit.. yes not fully support 4gb as other mem allocation for irq and other hardware..
we need 64bit to expand support all.. i'm thinking to switch on 64bit after everything is ok..

ya gaming also not even reach 3gb..

actually enough already.. the most ram consumed is around 2.3gb..
with higher cpu/ram speed not feel any different..
i purposely use 4gb just like multitasking.. and lazy to upgrade lol..

maybe it's full the needs of high reso user.. if not change no different then..

Various devices in a typical computer require memory-mapped access. This is known as memory-mapped I/O. For the MMIO space to be available to 32-bit operating systems, the MMIO space must reside within the first 4 GB of address space.

For example, you have a 8800GTS 640Mb Graphics card. That cards memory MUST be mapped withing the first 4Gb of address space. If you have 4Gb of memory installed then part of the addresses are reserved for the graphics card memory map. The graphics card memory now OVERWRITES a part of the system memory. 4Gb = 4096Mb - 640Mb = 3456Mb. If you have 2 GTS 640Mb then the amount of TOTAL RAM available to the O.S. becomes even less and so on. The amount system memory is reduced is all dependent on the amount of devices installed in the system. However, to avoid potential driver compatibility issues, the 32-bit versions of Windows XP/Vista limit the total available memory to 3.12 GB.

bro what ever bios option may be to utilize the 4gb such as
-MTRR mapping
-S/W memory hole
-S/W Dram Remapping etc

u may try it if u want.. as long as no driver conflict..
i'm not bothering it much coz not running a critical server here..

my G1 reached 3ghz still sucks? aiyo..
maybe a little voltage required compare to the latest chip..
but 1.4v is ok rather than 1.6-1.7 for F2..
if G2 can go till 4ghz then another story..
