QUOTE(soulfly @ May 23 2008, 06:24 PM) well, rising multiplier will also reduce or increase the ram speed. remember, there's no fsb... the memory speed is a derivative of the cpu clockspeed. True...please refer to the table in 1st page. hence....saying that raising multiplier only will not increase ram speed is not correct. -pWs- |

QUOTE(Melfice @ Jun 1 2008, 05:03 PM) hw many mV i wan to add for the CPU Special ADD ? ... waaa all tis thing sooo pening .. @_@ How many vcore u need to add is depend on your hardware? Slow add until Orthos stable.ermm .. u said (CPUCLOCKRATIO ) Multpier 12x250 ? 250 is CPU HOST/HTT Clock ?? 1. Found out your VID first using coretemp. I think the VID shown should be correct. 2. Remember to monitor temp for it. -pWs- |

CL3 need much much higher Vdimm than CL4.
I doubt your ram speed can cope w CL3. At least 2.4v I guess. -pWs- |

4 sticks might need more Vcore or sometime more Vdimm. Just my experience

QUOTE(kInOzAwA @ Jun 9 2008, 04:04 AM) hi all.. good to know you guys are amd enthusiast. Same here too. but i'm a bit late to come to this thread. i'm also using amd x2 5000+ BE. OCZ Reaper HPC DD2-800 4x1GB. Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H mobo. Sadly gigabyte provides very less option to OC on the bios. I cannot change the CL5 thinggy to CL4. When using manual mode to test my ram, the mobos only provide +0.1v up to 0.3v. That's irritating. any great mobos for OC to test out guys? Do you unlock the hidden setting? I think Gigabyte can change the CL setting. -pWs- |

Change to lower ram divider to find your max processor core speed first.

QUOTE(hermit23 @ Jun 15 2008, 12:33 AM) I tried running my proc to 1.5 vcore for 3.3 ghz . . . ran orthos for bout 5 mins without realizing my cpu fan on lowest 1500 rpm, temps went to 59 C. So, blast full at 3500 rpm, became 54 C. But after 20 mins, fail in orthos . . . 1.5 v, not enough. How bout your ram speed?Sometime it might due to your ram as well. If you wan to find the processor limit, better use the lowest ram divider. -pWs- |

Yup...that is the divider.
Please refer to the table on the 1st page for more information. If you wan to overclock, better understand how to see the table. It is very important. -pWs- |
