d problem is with d chip, nothing to do w bios version. i believe all of 'em will give inaccurate readings.

increase nb voltage abit & try...

depends on what chippies used om ya ram, if d9 75ns still ok, but if others, try 105ns or above. my twinmos works fine w/ 105ns...

increase bit by bit, don't anyhow increase alot just to take shortcut. when i was on f3, i did play with d sb voltage abit. by bumpin it abit it did manage to brin down d vcore needed but after awhile, d effectiveness gone. so i just brin it back to stock. never touch d htt voltage as i've tried increasin it for moderate oc, yes it doesn't help.

do note that ur playin w 4 sticks of ram, so u tend to need higher voltage for vcore & vidimm if there's any oc done.

yes. psu does play a role in decidin how well u can oc.

like jedi master xixo said, diff combo give u diff voltage requirement. u just need to find d sweet spot for ya oc setup.

i wud say it depends on d game whether it's multi-threaded or not. if single threaded game d higher d clock speed d better while multi-threaded games run better on more cores. so far d multi-threaded game i know is supreme commander, not so sure bout d rest as i'm not a hard core gamer. i only play rts like bfme or c&c only...

if ur referrin to intel quaddies which can clock very high, yes, it does help, but amd quaddies, i'm affraid current dual core can do better their successor...

meanin that psu/board can't feed voltage consistently to d chip which directly cause d instability.

prolly overheat psu/pwm or psu not enuf juice.

main timings & refresh cycle time only, d rest IIRC all auto.

use 2 floppy disk enough, one for d startup disk, another one for d flash utility + d bios file.

it's abit meaningless gettin it considerin it is just a 'lil bit better than 9850be. 95w (soon) 9850be wil be a wiser choice be it price or power consumption wise.

if compared to those super f3 we have over here, brisbies don't stand a chance against 'em...

seriously amd need to improve their efficiency in their instruction per cycle (via havin a better architecture), clock speed aint d only solution to better processor. remember d p4 era?

higher l2 cache means higher temp sometimes if not most...

but ofcoz, better pi result...

dun think so, some gud g2 can do 3.1~3.2GHz @ stock voltage, but mind u their stock is always referin to 1.35v.

wait long long bro... it's too impossible askin for that speed for current architecture.

try to look in XS or abit forum, i guess not much ppl will pair d most high end chip w/ a value board bro. those who can afford d chip surely have no problem to own a 790fx board.

d 95w 9850 b.e should be d highest end chip that suits our board imo. 125w aint doin very well from what i can observe...

IIRC 125w 9850 B.E phenom only have that problem, all phenoms are 95w except those "e" version which is of 65w.

if i got d moolah, i wish to build another mATX rig too bro... one for oc/gamin another one for multimedia...

if ur gonna play w/ current x2 only, go for 780g, else, i wud say wait for 790gx instead.

if cannot boot into windows, how can it be considered oc successfully bro...
