Hmm, very tough question. I doubt I can possibly choose but at the moment, I'd choose 1950-1960. We'd get the best from film makes like Hitchcock, Kazan and many more and we'd still get to see the best batch of actors in a long period of time? I mean surely Dean, Brando, Stewart, Peck, Fonda among many other actors would pwn any other generation of actors?

And of course, my current favorite actress:-Audrey Hepburn

And as for movies, I thought there were very few good movies at the first few years of the new millennium but the past 2 years have been absolutely fantastic, at least for me and 08-09 looks to be DA BOMB! So I ain't complaining in terms of movie
