QUOTE(silverwineus @ Jun 18 2008, 05:49 PM) Make sure you don't make mistake in getting a underaged joeys? K? Joeys will come out from the pouch (OOP) after 2 months, and need nursing by their parents for another 2 to 3 months, before it's right time for you to take home. Eyh! really? because i want to buy joeys from this one guy that i found on LYN too the nick is NononoWelcome to the pool of knowlege of suggies, a station for suggies lovers that cannot be missed.. Added on June 18, 2008, 5:50 pm Ulat la..what else rite? hehe.. i called and talk to him on the phone last night. he selling to me joeys that 3-4 weeks old. he said he might teach how to nursing the joeys, do u think i can believe him? he said too that its not a problem because the younger the suggies, the suggies might get to know u well QUOTE(ReBeLLioN @ Jun 18 2008, 05:50 PM) Bahah! okeh. thank you bro. This post has been edited by hazzy: Jun 18 2008, 06:02 PM |

QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Jun 18 2008, 06:06 PM) DO NOT GET JOEYS ANY YOUNGER THAN 7 or 8 WEEKS OLD. alaaaaaaaaa really? IF THE SELLER TELLS YOU TO NURSE THE JOEY, STEP AWAY IMMEDIATELY. THE JOEY YOU PURCHASE SHOULD BE FULLY WEANED AND DOES NOT REQUIRE HUMAN NURSING ANYMORE. KP |

QUOTE(silverwineus @ Jun 18 2008, 06:13 PM) Nonono, i thought he's radiata fan. But anyway, you should ask for more clarification until all your doubts are settled, this is ..hmm..comsumer rights. Bahah You shouldn't get "3 - 4 weeks joeys" but rather " 2 months OPP joeys", there is a huge difference. The former is 4 weeks old but the latter is 4 months.. sorryla, my explanation anyway, what is OPP and radiata? and do u have any suggies to sell? |

QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Jun 18 2008, 06:21 PM) In Indon is appx. RM50 lar. Thank you sis, i prefer quality for sure And those are WILD CAUGHT, meaning WILD, NASTY and GARANG... Do you think for RM50 is worth it? Wild caughts are selling for as low as RM80 here(if you buy more than 10) Cheap doesn't guarantee quality. Despite my warning, if you still wanna try get an under age and nurse yourself, be my guest. But I have received news from new owners about dead and dying underaged joeys almost 1 every week. Nursing a joey is not advisable at all unless on extreme cases such as the parents reject it. PLEASE read more before even getting one. Get to understand WHY we advise NOT to get under aged joeys... WHY they need to stay with their parents until fully weaned... PLEASE, I beg you to read more. KP i dont want my suggies to be dead in less of 15 years at least QUOTE(silverwineus @ Jun 18 2008, 06:23 PM) Hey bro.. hazzy, thank you for ur information If the joey is seperated from their mother too young, you know what's the consequence? They have INTERNAL problem that you can't see, such as bad immune system, improper development of digestive system etc.. Big problem you know... Added on June 18, 2008, 6:24 pm radiata is tortoise. OOP is Out Of Pouch. |

QUOTE(bonai @ Jun 18 2008, 08:53 PM) haha.. sure money matters.... thank you bro bonai, once i get my salary for this month, straight away im gonna go to the pet shack and buy the required stuff for suggies, its just nearby my office, im working at ss15 subang jaya, just make sure you're really prepared before actually bringing one back home.. stuffs such as cage, pouches and other accessories should be prepared earlier.. i would suggest to get it from Pet Shack (the glider friendly shop!) as they have all gliders stuffs you ever want.. and they could advise you on accessories or toys for gliders.. meanwhile, get to know gliders owner here and try to get in touch with any of them.. try to handle their glider(s) before actually considering to buy... the passion will strike you straight away then only you know gliders are the perfect pet for you! and the other matters is, suggies availability. do u have any suggies in stock bro? QUOTE(bonai @ Jun 18 2008, 10:47 PM) too bad she's married.. hurm, i prefer if we talk business in PM.. this thread is to discuss about gliders only.. anyway, sorry.. i don't have gliders in stock.. plus, there's already a few customers in my waiting list.. my glider just gave birth on 9th June (IP) and will be available approx 4 months from that date.. erm, that's Ted Bundy's first baby... will post the picture of the mom's tummy soon... Gliders In Pouch: ![]() muahahaha... QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Jun 19 2008, 10:31 AM) Hazzy, Thanks again Hun, SIlver, Bonai, and krynzpeaches Me, Hun, SIlver and Bonai has tried our best to explain all we can about suggies. Please read understand their replies one by one. Tak faham English, I can translate for you in BM. Just ask me. To us, getting a joey/glider requires a lot of knowledge AND PATIENCE... Such thing as "CANNOT WAIT" or "MUST HAVE IT NOW" is something we don't tolerate well. If you really love suggies as you claim, you WILL wait fr the best to come and will not rush for it... The greatest reward/satisfaction comes to those who waits I really hope you understand If your brother has bonded well with Ecah, most likely she will remember him I'll wait patiently then i do understands english language anyway, 1 last question, if im getting a pair of suggie (male& female) but the problem is, i can only get them 1 by1. And which gender u suggest i should get 1st? male or female? thanx in advance. And thanx again for those who advised me about having a suggie as a pet. thank you guys! QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Jun 19 2008, 12:38 PM) About getting a pair. Start with a female first coz females need time to mature properly. They should only have their 1st breeding when they are about 10 to 12 months old. If you put a pair of male and female together when joeys, the male matures faster, so he would breed early when the female is sexually mature. Females can get sexually mature at 6 months old, and breeding too early can cause health problems, shorten lifespan..... this happens in the wild. Wild gliders can only live up to 5 years... sometimes a bit longer if they have never gotten into the tummy of a predator. In captivity, with the right diet, husbandry, care and no early breedings, it can go to 10 or 15 years. nice and neat advice. Beribu-ribu terima kasih for the information and advice crazymouse_yyh |

QUOTE(onezkatana @ Jun 19 2008, 03:25 PM) QUOTE(emino @ Jun 19 2008, 03:26 PM) You dont think we would state that fact that it needs license in front of the page if it's true ah? Here: http://suggiesathome.wordpress.com/2008/06...rs-in-malaysia/ Study that blog. Useful for newbies. Speaking of that blog, Hun, no new articles ah? QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Jun 19 2008, 03:29 PM) Sugar gliders are legal here and there is no need for license as they are not an endangered species. US and certain places in Europe need licenses. Some Asian countries like Singapore and also oversea countries put gliders as ILLEGAL. Thank you guys thanks again now i have better information of suggies gonna survey more about the accessories and cages |
