Hi all,

I was wondering if Pioneer HT-SGS1 5.1 system is available in Malaysia? I bought this here in U.S, but not sure how am I gonna ship it back home in future if I go back. So, I'm just wondering if where can I get this system in Malaysia.



Also, if any of you would like to post your system setup picture, that would be a great start for this thread. I don't have my system setup yet. I will post my pic once I setup my system.

i was looking for this set a few months back, but it's an old model and most of the shops i looked for don't have it anymore. i ended up buying a sony ht-ddw 685 5.2 system.

Well i'm not sure if its an old model but i think you might be right...because i tried looking for it in Pioneer's website and they don't seem to carry it no more. I got it here for $160. Not bad for the price & performance.

It'll cost you more than that to FedEx/UPS it back here, lol.

And don't bother with USPS to save money, cos the package will either arrive 6 months later (if at all), or arrive with all your stuff inside broken.

Or not at all...

how much is the average HT-in-a-box in Msis nowadays?

i got it at RM 999 at best denki KLCC. it's running about the same price in a few of the shops that have the stock. mind you though, it's just an entry level HTS, but it was great enuff for my gaming and movie watching needs. it has only 1 digital input though and no HDMI.

but the 2 subs are performing well.

RM1G huh...hmmm...like i said i was thinking of getting Logitech Z5500...but since i'm still in overseas i have long time to worry about it...just keeping myself up to date with the market...
