bad news guys, gizmodo reported that activation is done in store only. so if you want to buy iphone, you really needed to sign up for contract. there is no more buy first activate later kind of thing. it's much like cheap phone that come with every contract.sad

ha?like tat we got no chance to get 3g iphone to malaysia????abang irwan, plz bring it to malaysia!!!

my source of iphone is from US only but there is no news about prepaid plan for iphone yet in the US. as of now, more news confirms about activate-at-the-spot-only.

@kevinwcw: erm.. because you don't have exact date, confirmation on whether it will work with local network or the availability of prepaid version, the prices, and i'm sure, by the time it's available Iphone 3g is just yet another iphone.

wanna ask, do u guys prefer illegal unlock and cheaper or official unlock but expensive?

coz i'm undecided myself. if illegal unlock, have to wait and risk of pening kepala everyday...

for official, expensive but also kinda pening kepala when dealing with NZ warranty.

what do u guys think?
