Guys i know this kinda really OT here but can't help it.
DId u guys see the latest Android showcase from Google I/O? It got me drooling abit with its features. The functions and UI seems a lot like the iPhone.
Android going to be a really great competitor to the next generation iPhone. Just hope the android phone manufacturer can keep up with iphone design.
About the Android OS, I think the key to success here is heavily depending on how "open" the development of softwares. As we all already know, iPhone's SDK is released already and numerous companies are working on it, e.g. Sega's Super Monkey Ball. So the true impact actually comes when the programs are on sale (yes, for a price) and how Android is going to deal with the development of different programs are unknown. Judging from Google's nature and the situatiion as Android comes out later, there is a high probability that they'll put on no charges (rules) for any development and release of softwares. This could be another Public for free VS Coorporate for charge situation. DId u guys see the latest Android showcase from Google I/O? It got me drooling abit with its features.
