That thread sucks, seller has no informations at all. Bad news for him, this time you need to activate right after you've purchase your iPhone at  an Apple store.

Are sure about this? Or just rumors only.

Like first version, there will be unlock iPhone everywhere. Just relax. If u all need so much about video call than don't buy. That's it. Go get Htc diamond.

Do you think there might be a possibility somebody will develop a program which enables users to send mms?

1st gen iPhone selling for SGD700, just launched according to the Machine sales girl...

but if the price of iPhone 3G is RM2k+... i might consider going for HTC touch Diamond...
*
Htc diamond touch is overpriced also.

functionality/flexibility wise, i think diamond still has the edge over iPhone... but iPhone looks more appealing for some reason...

Well if you said so. But after try my cousin diamond, not up to my taste. Less sensitive screen, always freezed, slow, small screen. Web browser yep very good.

I only use one time video call. Nothing special about video call beside expensive. Even Europe also not popular with video call. Steve jobs know about this.

Yes. That is why i always encourage people to get legally unlock iphone 3G. In fact this new iphone will have diff senario. In fact, i have read few article regarding unlocking new iphone 3G, it is very difficult (some said impossible) to unlock it. So, think carefully before you buy it.

wanna ask, do u guys prefer illegal unlock and cheaper or official unlock but expensive?

coz i'm undecided myself. if illegal unlock, have to wait and risk of pening kepala everyday...

for official, expensive but also kinda pening kepala when dealing with NZ warranty.

what do u guys think?
*
Ok, i have drop my iphone 3 times very hard, and still work as usual. So after a year, my iphone also still working as expected. And if i also got warranty, sure it is already expired.

But if u prefer illegal unlock, still it's not covered by apple, and worst thing maybe soft unlock will not availabe after one year. Of course cheap, but cannot use.

And i prefer legally unlock.

Sometimes there's "cheap and delicious food" but you have to eat those beside roads.
