you is thinking too much
$199 sure need to sign up with service bond, most likely 2 years bond.
Singtel also going to offer iPhone

yup, you're right, 199 is just for the phone, the plan was at least twice higher then the old plan. Plus, who needs an iPhone when there are other phones that are better than it, example: diamond, haha

AT&T also says that a "no-commitment" (read: no contract) iPhone 3G will be available soon, at $599 for the 8GB version and or $699 for the 16GB handset. Pricey, but hey-no two-year contract.

Guess that $199 price Steve Jobs announced for the iPhone 3G should have come with a massive asterisk, huh? wat a statement !! laugh.gif laugh.gif rclxms.gif

Wise men speak because they have something to say. Fools speak because they have to say something. And thats for you.

And why are you using an iPhone now since there are better phones than it? I know its your opinion but it doesn't make sense at all... or are you the type that just hop into the flamewagon following haylui's tail?

im just asking

QUOTE
n a nutshell, if you're "upgrade eligible" (log into your AT&T account to see if you are), you'll be able to buy the new iPhone for the discounted price of $199 for the 8GB version or $299 for the 16GB model. (AT&T is somewhat vague about the eligibility criteria, although your credit history and the time remaining on your contract are factors.) You'll also have to pay an $18 "upgrade fee."

If you're not eligible for the discount, you'll have to fork over extra for an "early upgrade"-$399 for the 8GB iPhone 3G or $499 for the 16GB model. Ouch.

AT&T also says that a "no-commitment" (read: no contract) iPhone 3G will be available soon, at $599 for the 8GB version and or $699 for the 16GB handset. Pricey, but hey-no two-year contract.

You mean Iphone 3G?W/o contract is the only option and it selling USD 599 or USD 699

Mean should be RM1900++ or it can be RM2200++

Correct me if wrong..

well when 1st unlocked unit available, i guess the price is no less tha rm3k... and if demand is higher and supply is low.. can easy fetch up to 3.5k

of coz, it take an pure rich fanboy to do that... for us... we just wait till load of seller submerge and compete the price,,,
