it's not the original score. and it's in c major not in d.
for this song, you don't need bass clef. it's just 8 chords keep repeating only. |

actually if you know what is canon in the first place, you'll know canon is strictly ensemble music and cannot be played solo.
a real canon score need only 1 score, although it's for 3 violins (for Canon in D). so the first violin will play first 2 bars, and then the 2nd violin will come in but playing what've just played by 1st violin, and after 2 bars again, 3rd violin will start to playing the score too. so when the 1st violin is playing bar 5 and 6, 2nd violin is playing bar 3 and 4, and 3rd violin playing bar 1 and 2, and so on. means, with the same score, 1st violin will play first, 2nd violin will play the same score but 2 bars late, and 3rd violin play it 4 bars late. since 2nd and 3rd violin is late by 2 bars and 4 bars, so they'll end 2 bars and 4 bars early, respectively. it's the beauty of canon, where playing it solo will never make sense. i also wished to play the canon on piano, and searching the appropriate score to play, but none of them sounds like the real thing. until i found out what's going with canon, i stop searching liao and i rather listen to somebody playing it, in string quartet (violin x2, viola, cello).

Canon in D is the all time most beautiful baroque piece that will fit right as Heaven's theme song. It has so much purity in it.

I love this piece too, especially the part where there are many continuous semiquavers!
By the way, is this the original piece of Canon in D as composed by J.Pachellebel? Link to the piece |

is original for 4 strings intrusment.
the rest are transcrib from original and difer from each arranger's prefference. therfore, they are no original other than the 4 string quo.
