Hi all, Since my rather late discovery of HDR in photography and the ability to utilise my super-aging Fuji S602Z, I started to take a shot and do some post in photomatix (Man im so buying this kewl little software). This is one done with the detail enhancer. A-la 300 This post has been edited by maranello55: Sep 4 2008, 10:29 AM

I can only say.... Nice office view man... By the way, I used to have the S602Z before I upgraded to EOS 10D years ago.... And I have the model before S602Z, something like 6900 if remember well...

the starbucks mug shot is just a snapshot...no offence..and the HDR didnt really protrude... your KLCC shot very nice lar but you may wanna try to take away that chair then you will have a very nice reflection of KLCC

But im all over-excited coz this method has maximise the usage of my camera and im glad to know that there are ways to make marginally good shots with marginally good camera Here are the 3 ranges of images that made that mug shot. The final photomatixED one clearly covers all range and as the function in photomatix says it, its a detail enhancer but perhaps i am lacking the 'eye' for a better photo finish. I wouldnt know that its a HDR image by just looking at it either. Now looking at it, perhaps a tab brighter would do it. Hey this is photo gallery aint it? Can I discuss things like this here? Or should I take it outside? Sorry Noob lah Added on April 21, 2008, 4:52 pmAnother KLCC shot from my conference room This post has been edited by maranello55: Apr 21 2008, 04:52 PM

here's a great tip for keeping the halos at bay. things to play with to remove or reduce it. play with light smoothing. then try to adjust the luminosity slider. but usually i just pump up the highlight smoothing slider around 65 to 75 which usually does the trick. Good luck with your HDRs
