Thanks for the replies Iklatmy and Cheeroy.
Yeah I totally didn't pay attention to the renounceable issue.
I thought we can only trade it after subscribing to it. Wasn't aware that i had the rights already, have to poke my broker for that info.

QUOTE(cky80 @ May 22 2008, 10:48 AM) how bout year over year (eg: 2nd quarter last yr)? nvm...shud pick up...baltic index is flying again 3rd quarter should be great for Maybulk. Because the sales of their ships will be reflected then plus the BDI has been up mostly in the 2nd quarter. IF the BDI holds at 11k and above in the 3rd quarter, 4th quarter will be even better.

QUOTE(kurt @ May 22 2008, 05:52 PM) Hello ppl, Been a long time since i post in this topic. Anyway, any news on YTLPOWER? They always announce divident around these time. Announced a dividend of 7.5% T.E. of par value, which is about RM0.0375 sens per share. Results are slightly higher compared to last quarter mainly from their water treatment business in the UK. That business now contribute more than 60% of their profits. Maybe due to higher exchange rate, who knows. Added on May 22, 2008, 11:07 pmQUOTE(barcode @ May 22 2008, 10:52 PM) can someone explain on it. Genting will be paying RM0.043 per share and Resorts will be paying RM0.036 per share as dividends. 26th June will be ex-date so you have to buy before that to be entitled to dividend. QUOTE(barcode @ May 22 2008, 11:17 PM) thanks for the explanation. It seem the dividend payout is pretty low, no wonder the price for Genting and Resort is dropping Genting and Resorts are never known to be dividend counters. They've never paid a good dividend before. So I believe the dividend is a none-issue for the counters share movements. Added on May 22, 2008, 11:34 pmQUOTE(panasonic88 @ May 22 2008, 11:32 PM) GENTING & RESORTS dividend is low, as always Hey pana, why don't you start the next thread V13.
