bought a WD 640GB HDD yesterday... was recommended this due to size and price. supposedly its quite fast and after some normal usage test yesterday, it aint too bad.

bought it to replace one of my RAID0 HDDs thats dying

i hated it.

Sennheiser is a big NO for me. id rather take my cheapo Philips HP250 then a Sennheiser.

dont get me wrong...theyre good....but for me they suck... can fall asleep listening to metal

the pads i got from a forumer who went to singapore...he helped me buy it from bluetin.com.

the stock pleather pads are a lil warm yes..... but i only use it in AC room...so no biggie for me... can still wear it for hours.


the amp...my battery ii oso can use dc mah but got battery inside oso so can use both but i think the amp in the pic is different than mine judging from the power cable. could be the Cute Beyond model.

yeah the A500 has a REALLY wide soundstage and AWESOME sound positioning. making it ideal for gaming....which is wat i use mine for...

as for bass...dunno ler..cant compare coz never heard dt231 before. but its definitely less than my dt990.

NEED a DAC?? that decision is up to u man... but of course imho an external DAC would always be better.


i bought the same mushkin PSU for my boss' rig in the office... i absolutely hate it. the modular plugs are on the wrong side of the PSU, then the cables are so friggin stiff making cable management a pain in the ass....i swear ill never buy 1 again...would rather spend the same amount of money on a non-modular strider 560w
