QUOTE(carjack18 @ May 22 2008, 08:46 AM) In Ostolia, Kastam Diraja doesn't matter QUOTE(bOoEsT @ May 22 2008, 09:51 AM) I never needed to call on the warranty for my vastly inferior 350D, so i thought i'd save a few thousand. |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ May 23 2008, 03:25 AM) eh no .. i know 2-3 other ppl here also has them.. 8k ringgit per assblasting session, 3 session enough. Painful, but heck it brings in the moolah but again empire.. me think the gigolo business is flourishing.. QUOTE(168257061 @ May 23 2008, 03:27 AM) Lichness is proportionate to how well you can use given funds/skills to make more funds. I don't save for one, i believe active investment is the only way to afford stuff i like in short time frames. Risky, but in case i make a bad trade, there's always the chicken farm 5D pass to my friend until he gets his 40D, he lives in the same house anyways. |

New rig. Nothing real fancy though. Basic Lian Li case, 8gb of RAM, Xeon proc, twin 4870s (can't fix an X2 in lol), Auzentech XFI and other bits and pieces. Generally for running Lightroom/Photochop, doing Labview, Siemens PLC and Tekscope programming, Gaming (surely lol. 90 percent of what i do), some Altium Designer and of course doing word processing.

QUOTE(LExus65 @ Aug 19 2008, 08:52 AM) It's in a DHL box. Kastam Australia liek sial, tahan my barang (includes HDDs, PSUs, QUOTE(168257061 @ Aug 19 2008, 10:16 AM) I'm far past my dremel using days. No need mod lah. Most of her days will be spent opening photochop, labview and various electronics design software. Dah Tua lah. Review sample Zalman 1kw (with another 850 watter). Overdue to review and heck i get to keep it for rape testing. Best part about reviewing this PSU is that i have access to a proper DPO, Power Analyzer, Triac and regulating transformer, Sound and Radiationproof chamber and of course, a Rohde and Schwartz spectrum analyzer. QUOTE(AceCombat @ Aug 19 2008, 11:00 AM) Rather not have a hot gc in a cramped case. Not that i OC. Everything runs stock with me these days. Just want to crank my shit up when i have my daily hour of gaming. |

QUOTE(msyafiq_m @ Aug 19 2008, 12:13 PM) Woot!!R&S Spectrum Analyzer!Your very own,is it?nice.. If i could afford a Rohde and Schwartz i'd be posting in supermillionaires forum instead and buying twin 30in monitors There's an FSU series analyzer which i get to molest if the post grads aren't molesting it. But i usually use the lower end FSL in the radio and transmission labs. Still... even the lower end FSL costs 20k AUD man...... |

QUOTE(168257061 @ Aug 22 2008, 11:36 PM) AutoCAD IIRC doesn't need hardware class rendering most of the time because it's simulated 3D system, much like how cartesian 2D looks like 3D. Best would be to test the Quadro setup with Matlab, the extra power from the FPU and it's it's 754 compliant FP round off is a huge boon for large scale simulations (tell me about it, i practically wait to die while a C2D chugs away at this sometimes). 3Ds Max is a good bet and so are SPEC GC benches. And IIRC the Quadro should suck balls at most gaming benches, anything gaming related for that matter. |
