Hey ff8ong, just some suggestions. You can transfer your media to an external drive and then transfer to the mac or network both windows to mac via ethernet.

Not so sure about that but give it a try. It should work like how it does on windows.

Nice..it should take 30 minutes to complete the installation and i did find XP boot much faster on mac. Have fun bro.

Hmmm...Some XP that comes bundle with computers like Dell etc may have the OS patented to their computers if i'm not wrong. Can always give it a try.

Bootcamp is safe even if the disc does not allow for installation. You can always pinjam Win XP from friends and do the installation again.

Most of the guides from the websites you mentioned are pretty straight forward guidelines. As of now, the latest winpwn and pwnagetool are simple to use. Anyway, do let us know what OS you're using and what firmware are you're on and what firmware you're planning to use.

Also, trying looking up at some video tutorials from youtube. You'll learn alot from those vids and save the vids for reference while you're doing your firmware upgrade.

Congrats on your new mac. Which mac model did you buy?

I usually transfers my media stuff v itunes. Just upgrade to itunes 7.7.

Am using DiskAid mostly for simple documents file transfers, not so much of the media contents.

I use mac mostly. Using Macpro for my work. Btw, found a software called PhoneView(Mac Only). But is demo. You can transfer files from iphone to mac vise-versa. Check it out.

Click on the red button on the box(top left) and it will show x. This will close the box. Also on your desktop, you will see a disk image of the software you just installed. Use Command+E to eject the image or drag the image to the trash bin.

So, the only way is wireless connection. Upload and download files using FTP softwares or software provided by developers. Most of the links have guidelines on their website to help you get connected to a Mac or Windows platform.

AppStore Things app is really good and much better than the dobot todos app. Since the updates, it gotten much better.

Anyway, long awaited function coming to our beloved iphone soon.

Cut and Paste for iPhone

OpenClip is a non-profit, open-source, community-effort project, which promotes a framework for the iPhone that allows users to copy / paste between participating applications.

Apple has yet to implement copy / paste on the iPhone. While they have publicly stated their intention to do so in the future, Apple has noted that copy / paste is not high on their list of priorities.

OpenClip utilizes a shared space on the iPhone. Applications that use the OpenClip framework can access this common area to write to and read from, allowing copy / paste between participating apps.

The way it works (in very plain english) is when you copy something from an app, it writes it in it’s own folder, when you paste something into an app, let’s say Wordpress, Wordpress would look in all other copy and paste compatible apps folders for recently copied info, sort it by date, and select the most recent one and paste it into Wordpress.
