Hey there, i have just got myself an Iphone from Carphone Warehouse today, the problem is that once i have plug it into my computer the itunes application pops out and start asking me to register with o2 in order for me to use it. I know that i shouldn't be registering it at the moment before unlocking the phone.

My problem now is that how do i bypass the activation thingy and prepare it for software installation such as Iliberty and Ziphone. I have followed the tutorials from this website http://iphone.unlock.no/. But to no avail, my iphone just couldn't bypass the activation.

My firmware is 04.02.13G, i am assuming its not 1.1.4 isn't it?, i am still stuck at the register your iphone screen.

Thx for all the replies, i have successfully unlock my phone now, damn, i accidentally dropped my phone luckily it hit my leg and fell into my drawer. Phew, i have just ordered the invisible shield from amazon.

I screwed up big time during the first attempt of unlocking it with Iliberty, but the restore mode does the magic for me and the 2nd attempt works perfectly fine as i have updated it into 1.1.4 firmware which i did not do during the first attempt.

Hie there, i have managed to unlock my iphone with Iliberty yesterday, but once it is done, i realized that my "Settings Icon" is gone and were no where to be found? Has it been hide automatically? I have got no idea as to where to re-locate it, i have searched through over in google and i can't seem to find a solution for it?

Really need some guidance here. Thx in advance.

I have not try to restore and unlock it again yet. Could anyone confirm this before i try out the second time. Initially i saw the Settings Icon and not other Icons, therefore, i have decided to switch off my iphone and turn it on again, after doing so, i managed to get back all the icons but unfortunately the Settings Icon is gone.

I have just installed the Longman dictionary and after the installation/download i have turn off my iphone and turn it on back but i do not see a visible icon saying Longman Dictionary? is it meant to be like that?

Meaning i should be downloading and install the Wedict program in the installer application? Pardon me, what's Weiphone source?

Inside my installer there's (Featured, Install, Update, Uninstall and Source) can't find the weiphone or add source in any of it.

I have recently installed the SMSD program and when i tried to open it, it crashes. So, i did some research on google and I have downloaded the SMSD.app fix application and copy it into my iphone by using WinScp, i have followed all the steps shown in Youtube but it still crashes.

Ironically, the SMSD works out all of the sudden. I was trying to launch it since yesterday and it crashes time and time again but i tried it out a few hours ago and it works perfectly fine. Huh!!, wondering why is it like that, at first, you can't even log in into the program and now out of no where i could launch and use it at the same time.

The only problem arises now is that, whenever i scroll to the last msg whether it is on Inbox or Outbox it will automatically exit the software.

Btw, anyone here uses V-Moda Vibe earphones for Iphone, It seems to be darn good, hand itchy, felt like buying it.

What is the other earphone that you are talking about, shed some light to me as well, haha, Yea V-moda vibe ain't cheap at all its about 60pounds in Amazon. Wondering why they seller doesn't absorb the transportation cost. I would probably get it but it will only happen next month.

I was wondering if Iphone could run or install Open Office or any PowerPoint slides? If i am not mistaken it can't be done right?

With the SDK 2.0, can existing users use Ziphone or Iliberty to JB it? Or is there any security enhancement which does not permit such moves anymore?
