Pardon my newbie question, I'm getting an iphone soon but I have a few doubts:

- I've read about this "bootloader 4.6" is not unlockable by any method now. Is it still true or will Ziphone takes care of it? How do you determine if your iphone comes with 4.6 or not?
- Would it be advisable for me to purchase an unlocked iphone, upgrade it to 1.1.4 and unlock it myself with Ziphone?

Alternatively, you can purchase those iTunes card ($10USD, $20USD) and use it to create a new account (create a new AOL ID using any e-mail address you want).

That's what I did to get my iTunes account created (while at that, you can purchase some songs too lol)
