try search at garage sales, they still might have some..

1.8k price i dont think got in handphone shop, shall be higher..

If u want to buy it at a shop, try Digital Mall at Sec14 PJ or Pertama Complex. Last time ... llike a month a go i went to Pertama Complex and the guy there quote me RM1750 for the 8GB version. So now the price should be lower. Better still u can check in the Garage Sales.

I think it's not surprising to see iPhone price goes up in these short time... People in Weiphone forum also reported higher price, 8GB is currently selling at RMB4k and above compared to around RMB3.7k just a couple of months ago...

There're shortage in US, maybe Apple is controlling the supply of 1st generation iPhones in view of rumored new phone...
