Well, I turn off my iPhone 2 nights once or almost every night. Is this fine?

What a question, maybe you don't know how iPod or iPhone works and that's why Apple is really encouraging their users to just put their Macs or iPods to sleep. In this case, iPhone or iPod touch needs to boot up the OS so it might decrease the battery usage even lower cause it use full CPU power when booting up the phone's OS. What's really stack up, the apps that we run and close with just 1 second on the Home button, might accumulate the memory and might cause our phone to maybe restart by itself just like what fuiyo said due to excessive memory consumption.

This phone is different than others so all I'm asking is it a safe practise to turn off completely and turn back on again rather than just turn off the radio by Airplane mode and to sleep, it's not good to turn on phone's radio all the time.

Just press Sleep/Wake and Home button until it boots, works for me. That game is great but alot of bugs.

There's a new app on Installer under Utilities I guess, called biteSMS and the description mentioning send normal SMS but in a cheaper price. Sounds fishy huh? Anyone tried?

Ring/Silent switch, volume rocker, Sleep/Wake button, and lastly the most often use button is the Home button are the mechanical buttons so it may broke down and stop functioning... don't play with it much as warranty is on us.

There's a small grill that protects the speaker from dust, so poke some hole to let the sound come out more. Btw, whenever I receive a call, sometimes I have Slide to answer and sometimes I get Decline and Answer button. I thought that was in the earlier firmware like 1.0.1 and 1.1.1. Is this consider a bug?

You can notice that the ringtone is quite loud than the other pre-installed tones. Why didn't Apple include this ringtone?

I was just wondering, one bubble chat text equals to one sms right? In firmware 1.1.4, it can save 5000 sms.

Go to iTunes and click on each video Get Info. Go clear some of the titles and re-enter again the titles correctly for it.

Everytime I connect my iPhone to my computer, it'll start charging. When I launch iTunes, my iTunes will hang and my phone will disconnect and stop charging. Anyone having the same problem?

Have to reinstall iTunes again, sigh.

Btw, iPhone is not so smart, let say we send a text or call a number for example: 012-123 4567. When the number replied back, it will show +6012 123 4567 so if we save our contacts without +6 code, it'll display numbers instead of names.

Was doing some research on the Infineon PMB8876 processor in the first-gen iPhone, interestingly it supports A-GPS, FM Radio, WLAN and some other cool stuff. It has the power but Apple is not granting clemency to the developing.

I think that's the earliest firmware version, 1.0.1. The reason they abolish the feature is because the picture is too small for some people to see so they just put it full view.
