still need to JB again unfortunately. you can re-download the apps again for free provided that they match your itunes store account.

hmmm, this can be quite a tricky situation. anyway, logically and as far i'm concerned your iphone can only have one itunes account. |

it needs to be real time i.e. stream over the net unless you download this third party app which enables offline maps. This post has been edited by nokia2003: Sep 9 2008, 10:51 PM |

experimented with the new iTunes 8 and here are my findings.
1. downloading the new software was surprisingly a breeze at an average of 130kbs (was expecting a gold rush) 2. installation time is definitely longer than the previous 7's. 3. backing up the iphone is still excruciatingly painful (even though there is a marked improvement in speed) 4. the "genius" feature will only work well with renown international english songs (no matches for my chinese songs despite getting the tags from itunes itself) 5. the addition of a new icon (Genius) to the left of the window, right after Party Shuffle. 5. a distinct change in the overall itunes layout style; thumbnails are given priority (easier to click on, IMHO) 6. no changes to the itunes store layout. did i miss anything out? if i did, please feel free to add more! i just don't get why are are being so "stubborn" (i don't mean to use such a strong word). we have all tried to provide you with information but you just keep trying refuting our statements by asking the same questions again. we can't read your mind, so why don't you just tell us straight? do you want an iphone with a contract? or do you want to purchase an outright straight from the authorised dealer? or do you just simply want to purchase it from a third party shop or private seller? Added on September 11, 2008, 8:59 pmif you want to know on how to obtain a new zealand, there is even a dedicated thread to it; stringfellow's and if you need more information from the singapore side, there are a few as well. some even broadcasting down to the shop's name and location precisely to which is offering that price. QUOTE(samlee860407 @ Sep 11 2008, 09:00 PM) to add on to my statement, we are no mind readers per se, but we do want to help (if not we won't be here in the first place).tell us what do you intend to do and tried justifying it (doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense like why must you insist about signing a contract from singapore or hong kong etc) samlee860407 isn't the only who is in a daze here, in fact i have spoken to an old timer here as well and believe me, we all pretty much unamused. |

huh? 3g connection is by default for aifontrigi (and if your SIM card and provider has enabled it) however, you can revert it to non-3g mode via settings (to conserve battery and also money?) |

i can only safely assume that you are using a locked aifontrigi. these phones (not just iphones) usually have a locked APN settings. to go online via the telecommunication network, you will need to alter these configurations (something which you do have currently at your disposal) This post has been edited by nokia2003: Sep 14 2008, 05:32 PM |
