maybe the old school ford gt cuz' the gt40 wheels are of bigger and macho 6 spoke
with the very same brand of tyres. the brake pots / pads looks more like an old school offering from porsche.... or rx-7 class. imo, front brake of this class will not be able to halt a monster the proper way. UE7, any hint? |

QUOTE(Director @ May 7 2008, 12:30 PM) reventon is car of the future mah. that's why have to pay premium price for it. in the future, it may be one of the greatest classic of all time. just like the rusty countach in the front page......it'll never look out of shape beside the modena or gt-r. lambo's designers are really far fetched. |

QUOTE(UE7 @ Jun 12 2008, 08:35 AM) Well, though muscle cars of today have lots of faults (Mustang/Shelby, 300C/Charger SRT8, Corvette, Viper, etc) not much other cars out there have their appeal. Their cars are styled purely American design and their engines are as enormous as they were during the original muscle car era. aren't the z06 lapped the nurburgring in slightly faster time than the porsche 911 and some offering from ferrari?American cars are really criticized a lot by the world. Think about it; wouldn't it feel weird if a big American sedan had some really sharp handling? Or some big fat American coupe that can be taken to the sharpest circuits and produce the best lap times? Yes. It will feel weird if an American car is perfect. American cars are not perfect and thats why I love them. I love the way they are unsophisticated. I love the way they are very heavy and has mediocre handling. I love the way they have enormous dimensions. I love the very American styling. I just love the whole package. Why it really appeals to me more is that, in Malaysia, muscle cars are extremely rare, in fact all US-made cars are rare, and owning one will make your car really stand out and be unique. In Malaysia, all V8 cars are MBs or Ferraris, SUVs and such. You want to experience the real feel of a real V8, you drive a muscle car. Full stop. As for the current Corvette C6 Z06, it has been a massive improvement overall from its predecessor - the C5. It can be taken to the track, and driven properly it gives the right lap times. The Z06 is is quite often the benchmark now for an entry-level supercar. imo, the z06 is definitely among the best offering fron the states. it was a lot better in handling department. perhaps it fits into mid range supercar as well. correct me if i am wrong. |

QUOTE(selinix @ Jun 19 2008, 05:00 PM) with smart tag and jockey service i think no big deal for these owners to take a day out with their super ride.. talk about the jockey, i saw a jockey in low yat plaza playing around with a few of sportscar calibre. sometimes ago, when we parked 2 hayabusa at the pathway next to the staircase entrance,, the jockey in lowyat plaza insisted on the key as he wanted to ride the superbike at the carpark behind. btw, the mirage's heart with lotsa' carbon fibre framing; for some reason, i'd prefer the brake caliper to be in red as in those cayenne. |
