since this is a valid question, i'll try to answer this...

M1, M3, M5, M6, Z4M and other Ms are tuned by BMW's inhouse tuning facility, the M Sport division....
Kinda like AMG to Mercedes...

saw a white countach today. number plate was BJX 9130. parked in meguiars showcar centre with the blue countach(WPP 111) next to it.

I am 100% sure that is the one which had the UK plates.

M5 comes with Michelin tyres?

so that UK guy finally got his registration after so much trouble...

M is a seperate subsidiary, not a tuning facility.. tuned cars are those like M-Sport cars. M3, M5, M6 etc are pure M cars engineered, designed and produced by M division.

den we see the M serise all the time is not real M la isit ? i heard Real M will cost alot more than a Normal Factory BMW!

some are just with M bodykits and some goodies....real Ms will cost maybe twice as much as the car it's based on....for example...a 5 series is bout 400+k while an M5 is selling here at 800+k.....

Nope, they come with Continentals but Michelins are a popular choice on supecars.
