Xerox 203/304A Toner & Drum is use for same printer and no different of the cartridge.

Include postage to MK of 203/204A Toner 1 unit is RM 100
Include postage to MK of 203/204A Drum 1 unit is RM 140

Total is RM 240

Hi siaobear,

It's depends of your drum condition to buy toner or drum & toner together, page yield of the drum kit is 12k pages, or every 3-5 toner changes.

Xerox 203A designed with separate body of toner & drum, unlike other cartridge toner & drum in one.

If your print out now is still clean and clear, then you just need to buy toner cartridge to replace the depleted one.

Indeed refill is cheaper than remanufactured, however quality not assured.

This samsung cartridge's drum & wiper (component inside the cartridge) usually worn out very fast (at around 1.3k pages).

Therefore I do remanufactured for this cartridge only (with new drum & wiper) to prevent leaking problem.

I'm selling at very cheap price already at RM 115 with your empty cartridge trade in, please consider ya.

beside, how many pages can print using re-man toner? last time i've tried 1, it only last 2 month while ori lasted 6 months.., n d quality is.. not tat gud..

For Canon Ori EP-22 Cartridge, I'm now selling at RM 201 (not inclusive of postage), remanufactured - RM 80
For Samsung ML2240 Cartridge, I'm selling at RM 150 (not inclusive of postage), remanufactured - n/a

Additional RM 5 for postage charges (Skynet) within peninsular Malaysia.

Remanufactured toner cartridge of Canon EP-22, approx. can print 2.5k pages @ 5% (in A4 size) coverage of each. For actual event, 10-20% coverage per page, estimated can last 800-1000 pages.

I can't tell exact reason why the remanufactured you purchased can't last, but toner recycling process is not just open the cartridge out, fill with powder , reassemble it back then done.

FYI, canon EP-22 original cartridge contain 140G of toner powder, by filling lesser like 100G of toner powder or so don't really save much of production cost plus brings bad reputation for a manufacturer. My guess here is the cartridge you bought not being proper recycled, more toner powder leak to waste tank (bottom part of the cartridge) instead of used it up by you.

And why more toner powder would leak to waste tank? This could be due to bad OPC drum condition (it's used to absorb and release magnetic charge, sucks toner powder on it then transfer to paper later ---> like you use brush with water color in painting), or wrong type of toner powder (overreact to magnetic charge of the drum )

That's maybe how you might encounter toner finish up so fast than original cartridge.

Cartridge recycling technique is not what we can learn from book, even there is many cartridge recycling instruction can be found on Internet, experience of what the best parts, what toner powder to be use is very important in order to produce a good quality remanufactured cartridge.
