anderyna, abang brother, jayniel: thanks for the info...so there's no point for me to go back there to change hamster isn't it?...i guess i will have to sell 1 off...

Separate both the WW. There is no point at exchanging coz WW prefer to be solitary if possible. Fights can occur at any age.

QUOTE(Voxe @ Apr 26 2008, 01:01 AM)
How many you got? I got five woh... No choice but to separate them into two groups only. My mother hamster the Pearl seems to scare her daughter the Agouti most of the time and make her squeak like mad and drop into defensive mode while her other daughter the Pearl they are very compatible.
*
Separate lah.... coz you breed them, you gotta be responsible for them. Soon they will start fights fast. Compatible now but later on can also fight coz WW they will become territorial if space is not enough.

QUOTE(Voxe @ Apr 26 2008, 01:10 AM)
Oh I think I estimated wrongly. Look at mine:

The cage is not big enough for so many hamsters. Tanks are much easier to maintain and better space. That cage is enough for 3 hamsters, max is 4.
If you wanted colony hamsters, you should have gotten RC or Robos.

If you provide a hide box or any sleeping house for your hamster, it should be fine with light. But make sure it is not direct sun light or you hamster could suffer heat stroke.

Yes it works. I always have bathing sand in the tank so they can go bathe when they feel like. smile.gif Hamsters are clean creatures after all. Try those with a nice sweet scent lar. Hehe.. And the good part is that the sand hardens up where they pee so you can just pick it up and throw it away.

hmm.gif But I don't think it helps the stain part if it's already stained. Wipe a bit lar, but make sure don't too much water. You shouldn't bathe hamsters if I remember correctly.
