midvalley roborovskies really expensive la...rm 48 each     ........jus wanna ask...hamster can use hay ar?? ....and how to noe a hamster is drinking enuf water or not?? i am using habitrail OVO series so duno if the water bottle on the OVO is quite unknown to the roborovskies...........becos its not ball bearing wan at the tip instead it is designed on the laws of surface tension and the gravity wan...means at the tips oni can see water coming out but wont drip.....duno they noe how to suck from there onot.     

oh, same lar then. i thought you people change like, few days once den my bedding sure finish fast. 
omg syrian! i wanna get oneee. 

i just dunno what happen...
they like to sleep in the bathing sand rather than using it~~

when they have their tail wet,
they become less active.
so i have to take out the wheel so that they wont pee in it and get themselves dirty and wet~~

wet tail can be a fatal disease

they become less active when their tail becomes wet...
i only feed them with only bean big apple once a 3days

my mui mui died last time bcoz of wet tail...
so now a bit panaroid...
but they really dunno how to clean themselves...
coz last two week one of my hamster butt bengkak!
i brought it to vet and the vet said bcoz it is dirty wo...

It is common because some hamster(s) cannot cope with the stress of moving from the pet shop to their new home, environment, etc...

I can tell you from mine and sangels' experiences that bringing hamsters to the vet is expensive. Minimum consultation fees is about RM20-25. No inclusive of the treatment and medications.

Even putting a hamster to sleep is expensive if there is no hope of curing the hamster. It can go up to RM100+.

yess jayniel, she just gave birth, thats actually my fren's hamster, i duno y i always get hamster that pregnant lolz.
