but i didn't kacau him wor... he just stay inside the wooden house n scream... scream many times n each time scream about 10 mins... 3 days like this dy, last time also not like this de... n is screaming now too... make me worry...

ya, cos i witnesses all of my hamsters' 'first time' before.. reli have blood, n de male's part will also have de female's blood..

Added on April 24, 2008, 9:34 am one of the signs of pregnancy is keep drinking water & pee ALOT.. she'll also be more aggressive than before.. so, watch out for these signs if u're suspecting pregnancy..

we mean the 1st time mating, not birth giving process

yeah when my julie pregnant, her perut so big, and on friday around 2.30pm - 2.40 pm, she gave brith and theres a blood on bedding and she seems so tired, poor julie.

juz wanna ask.. my ham juz gave birth 2 week s ago.. now the babies are big n active.. should i saperate them from their mom?? n juz now i juz wanna play with the male and when he sees the female he is like sangap wo..mcm 5 bulan x dapat xxx.. lawak gile..hehe

NO, dun separate until they're at least 1 month old.. when at 1 month old, separate all the males from females, or else they'll breed.. breeding within blood-related hamsters will cause many inbreeding defects.. another reason is to prevent too early breeding for the female.. a female should ONLY be bred when she reaches 4 months old... if too early, u'll shorten her lifespan by A LOT..

also dun breed the mum again.. let her rest for AT LEAST 3 months first.. if not, u'll also shorten her lifespan.. hamsters' lifespan is roughly 2 yrs.. by doing all these u'll shorten her life until 1 yr or Less.. if u love ur hamster, dun shorten its life like that

guys, how hamster get bath? i put the sand bath and they smell it and they cakar2 then they went out from the sand, how is actually hamster take bath?

It actually depends on which species of hamsters. Some will just dig around, some roll around and some will do nothing. And some will treat it as the toilet for poo and pee

Syrians doesn't need sand bath as they will groom themselves. But I do put them in for sand bath with some help putting the sand bath over their body and they will just shake it off.

put the sand bath in a small container, then put in ur hams about 15mins..
the fur will looks nice n smooth ^^

My BB is screaming now again... everyday he will scream 3-4 times... i can hear the scream while i'm in the kitchen also... started to worry...

I got this tip from a senior member for smooth and shiny fur for our hammies. Take a 1/4 pack of Britter Bunny and mix with 1 pack of Prestige or Harry Hamster.

Apparently Britter Bunny have something for the fur. And I can see that the fur on my hamsters are more shinier and smoother than last time.
