i got this tips from a member of another forum, to keep ur mealworms alive, u can put a piece of those Jacob's craker in the tupperware n that can last for almost a month.

Keep the mealworms too long (90-114 day) and it will become mealworm beetle...

I'm afraid of mealworms also but I did fed them with it, they are like eating abalone for chinese people. Grab and chew then swallow. Of cos I use small plastic forceps and not hand. I also 'tear' the head off using the forceps by holding tight with the tip of forceps

Those who want forceps can ask from me, I can collect from my work place and give it to you especially ladies who are like me You can really see the size different with hamster who eat mealworms and those without.

anyway, the longest i kept my mealworms is 3 weeks.
my hammies eat their mealworms like eating french fries, yum yum yum... chiak chiak chiak...

i stay in cyberjaya, but i dont have any worm too, but i surveyed in SK got petshop sold worm. hmm suddenly i also thought about what is relation between cyberjaya and mealworm lolz

Dear all,

Which species of dwarf hamsters are least likely to bite their owners. I used to have a Russian dwarf hamster, which rarely pinch me. It has since died after nearly 1.5 years. I then bought 2 mini hamsters from Ikano's Pet Womderland and boy, they are aggressive. I would like to give them away, and replace with those which do not bite. Please advise! Tks
