Wet tail disease seems to be very common for hamsters. Just bring ur hammies to see vet for a chance on curing it.

If u bring to see vet also not much hope i think. He/she will just only tell u that ur hamster is dirty. That's all he/she comment on. "Maybe" he/she will provide some alternative.

What are the "some alternatives"? Please elaborate further... I can tell you that if you managed to discover the wet tail early and bring the hamster to the vet then there is chance of the hamster surviving from wet tail. The vet will give something for the dehydration from the diarrhaea (wet tail). |

I have no problem with this situation as all my hamsters are toilet trained. Initially some like to pee in the wheel but now no more They will pee in the bowl with toilet sand we gave them. We just need to wash the bowl and change the toilet sand once a week. Now only one particular hamster will pee in the wheel once a while but it doesn't make them wet, wheel have to wash once a week to assure cleaniness.
