Yeah throttle control. Look at your throttle input to make sure you're doing it right.
Wheel steers itself because of force feedback from your wheel and it means you're losing grip. Don't turn it off as it's very useful. With this car it's very hard to correct oversteer. You need to detect very early when your car is losing grip and then countersteer as fast as possible.
Using ds3 is easier coz the input is 1, 0 and -1 so you just have to press left or right to get to the end of the other side. With steering it has a range from -1 to 1 (0.2, 0.3 etc) so need to turn a more than using ds3
