no...no lag at all....but sometimes the matching of players are not completed...but i manage to connect and play smoothly majority of the time.....
but i only play online games 1130pm onwards...maybe that time my area not many people using internet....heheheh |

The cars lag for me when i play online .. I'm in 2nd place and all of sudden 4 or 5 cars appear next to me and ram me like hell and my car pusing pusing

err...btw, i never get a chance to get hooked online...
everytime i joined the 2icons as some1 suggested as not so hard to get connected, i always get this "Matchmaking failed 00000" I bukan only do portforward, in fact i open all ports! (DMZ) ..and i get NAT 2 , the best i can get, not a chance =\ this thing really turned me off... |

Ok.. the trick is... the icons does not mean 100% you'll get in.. it's either someone is racing... and by the time you connect, there was noone else connecting.
Just let it run by itself,,, eventually you'll get in. Get errror, connect again. A good cue is, after the "X" button disappeared from the screen... have a look at your line connection, if it stopped blinking, means you will definately not get in.. if it keeps on blinking like crazy.. means, you'll be in. |

Bro Krovaxq, i totally agree with u on the multiplayer thing. At the moment, the online system for GT5P seems a bit broken. But for me, once u've manage to connect to a race, and racing with the clean drivers, everything seems fine. I think that it is a good idea like what u mentioned, if they implement a full online stats system (for each player), so that we have rough idea on how a particular player driving style is.
At the moment, other than private race rooms, i can't wait for PD to implement the damage modelling on each cars so that drivers are more careful during online races. We'll just have to wait and see then. |

OR, they can also make optional race up to 16 players where every racers are in 'ghost-form' but race together. It is basically a multiplayer-timeattack...at least we can avoid collision 100% and retarded players can just bang the wall as they wish. Well, sometimes timeattack by just playing alone and see numbers only at ranking, it is nice when we have multiplayer time attack in ghost-mode each other right? Just like watching people olahraga 100m, they race together, but they dont punch each other at the same time (racing in our own tracks while be able to watch others around you, and the score will be live-result on the spot after the race was over and to be updated after awhile globally?) :Every races can increase/decrease penalty points, the lesser penalty points you got, the better you will be, clean race for example will give you -30 penalty points, 1 violation will have your penalty point increased by 10 or 20 for example? Create a room where only -### penalty points to enter, and rooms with no penalty points restriction, this is the best way PD can come out with if private rooms are too soon to be expected. So beginners can train their skills, derby players can just knock themselves out with each other. : About the damage modelling, after watching the documentary, the producer has said, they dont want to implement damage modelling/functionality due to the expectation of the beauty of the game. Well that make sense, prolly car manufacturers wouldnt even want people to see their cars got wrecked brutally. Well if really beauty of the game is to be focused on, having to sacrifice gameplay, they can come out with this solution. Every impact of damage-possibility can be done wihout having to 'show' the damage. This is where game physics applied. Spare a small space around the screen showing general damage indicator , example; when you knocked someone from behind, your nose will have damaged by %, shown by the indicator, every related/involved will be damage resulting car performance to reduce (blown tyres,engine failure,transmisson failure and stuffs alike)... IMHO this will maintain the "Beauty of the game(no damage occurance) PLUS the Beauty of the gameplay" - Whats the point derby-ing each other for the win when your car is immobilized after few collisions, right?
