To make things nicer, POTY cannot be named as YPOTY. We all know who will grab both of the award in real life but tomake things interesting, both award cannot be awarded to the same person.

Thats why I stated Player of the Year should not be the same as Young Player of The Year. So that more names will appear in the list. Not to discriminate CR because we all know he will grab both in real life. Lets have a lil variation here.

My intention for only EPL is because not many people know player from LaLiga or Serie A. As for myself, I only know player of several team from LaLiga. Like Barca, Athletico, RM, Valencia, Villareal maybe Deportivo. If you ask me about player from Murcia or Celta, I can tell you I have no idea.

But seriously I would like to hear from you if you have a list of LaLiga of yourself.

This is not so different from the "Team of the Season" thread so I'll just cast my votes on a couple of the categories.

MANAGER OF THE SEASON
It was a toss up between Martin O'Neil and Harry Redknapp for me but I'm going with the latter simply because Pompey are a less fancied side, and . Signings like Utaka, Muntari and Distin have been top class and the fact that they find themselves fighting for a place in Europe is testament to what he has done for the club. Fratton Park is not an easy place to visit. They have only lost twice at home this season.

Man Utd have done well but everyone expected that of them.

TRANSFER OF THE SEASON
Fernando Torres for me. He has become the first Liverpool player since Robbie Fowler to break the 30 goal mark, and in his first season nonetheless. He has also upped his goalscoring ratio since leaving Atletico. The fact that the Kop sing his song even when he is on the bench is testament to his iconic status.
