You can detect the network but having difficulties connecting to it? Tried restarting your router?

Lol. Try this.

Touch the right arrow on that network's name.
It will show you the network's description etc.

Now scroll down and touch the "Forget this network"

Then try to connect to it again!

Again and again ... don't use ZiPhone. Its dangerous. See what happen.

Put the phone in DFU (blank screen ... not the itunes + cable screen) and restore. Use iLiberty+ to jailbreak+activate+installer but don't unlock. Use the Dev team WiFi fix (iphone-dev.org) and then download BootNeuter from Big Boss to unlock the phone.

ZiPhone WiFi fix will hardcode the WiFi MAC Address with a static/permanent one and not with your original MAC Address.

Afterall its not a common problem. The users probably did something wrong in the process of unlocking.

there is some problem with your wifi calibration tables. If your wifi is greyed, try to use swifi.

Now try this...

Download swifi from http://wikee.iphwn.org/sgold_bootrom:fixwifi

upload the swifi to your iphone ( use vt-100 or ibrickr)

# launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
# killall -9 CommCenter
# chmod 755 swifi
# swifi
wifi fixer
by MuscleNerd, gray, and the iPhone Dev Team
Actions taken:
Backup table checksum was corrected
Active table was restored from backup

Restore All to default settings...

After a reboot, my wifi button was no longer grey and swifi reports good tables
