I was just thinking.. could the "gray" bars be caused by the angle the picture was taken? BUT we all know Plasma has a great viewing angle so that shouldn't be the caused of it...which leaves the following question : 1) Brightness set too high 2) Crappy copy of MI:3 (u did mentioned it was copied right? ) Anyway, its great that the panny PV80 is finally out. Could it have arrived 2 months earlier, I would have gotten it. Sorry Panasonic, I've give my money to Sony..

I have a Sony 40" W400 and I must say, if u use it for browsing, while the text is readable, its never as good as a dedicated LCD monitor. For some reasons, the text are kinda "yellowish"??
I'm using a Radeon 2400 HD Pro card with HDMI out to the W400 at 1080p res.. For viewing downloaded Divx materials (e.g CSI, House M.D), I've absolutely no complaints. Good colors, I might even go as far as saying it looks better than playing the Divx files using a PS3.
Here's the odd part though,
HDMI to LCD TV - VIDEO ok, AUDIO ok HDMI to Yamaha v663 - Video ok but NO AUDIO.. duh, I have absolutely no idea and I found nothing on Google.

Ah.. no wonder. I was wasting my time trying to get it work till 4am in the morning Anyways. I'm now using a Philips external USB for my audio. Works perfectly so I'm happy with it for the time being.. Only inconvenience is one extra optical cable from the sound card to the Yamaha v663. QUOTE(arj @ Jul 2 2008, 02:15 PM) I remembered reading on AVS regarding this audio issue over HDMI for the RX-V663. It is not possible at the moment. Have to wait for ATI to release a patch or new drivers for it.

If they're actual transfers, how are they going to fit a typical 25Gb (or 50Gb) Blu-ray disc into a DL DVD? They're just Blu-ray rips. No doubt they look good but still no where close to the PQ offered by Blu-rays. I do have one though..Waterhorse Bought it at Amcorp mall.. I must say, looks pretty darn good. QUOTE(99below0 @ Aug 15 2008, 09:38 AM) Our *ahem* "blu-ray" disks are actual transfers from Blu-Rays... into DL DVDs. So basically you can play "Made in Malaysia" Blu-Rays on even Cap Ayam brand DVD players. Malaysia Boleh! This post has been edited by welwitchia: Aug 15 2008, 10:30 AM
